英國雙冠王James Blunt 出身於正統的軍人家庭，在這個視音樂為
噪音的家庭中，很難想像James Blunt 是如何得到音樂的靈感的。
從寄宿學校到大學，再到軍隊裡，他從未放棄音樂。即使在1999年
被派往科索沃作為維和部隊的一員，他仍帶上他的吉他，一
面拿着槍，一面把吉他用皮帶綁在坦克邊上。在科索沃，他
寫下了No Bravery。在2002年他離開了部對隊，帶上了歌稿，
來到洛杉磯錄製歌曲。原來一個英國人憑他的口音就可以在洛杉
磯生活得很好。

在2004發行了他的第一張專輯[Back To Bedlam]，但正式在英國
發行是在2005年。而他的第三張單曲You're Beautiful在這個時
候已經發行。You're Beautiful 還被人稱為 Elton John 的
Your Song 的現在繼承版。的確這首歌很好聽。於是他的單曲
You're Beautiful成為了英國單曲榜的第一，已經持續了兩週，
而他的專輯在英国專輯榜，連續兩週獲得第一。他的聲音還被一
家雜誌評價為“墮落的天使”，在You're Beautiful中，憂鬱的
嗓音加上憂鬱的音樂，就成就了這首憂鬱歌曲的成功。

『You're Beautiful』，獨特的嗓音纖細而高亢，唱著得不到
愛人的傷感和失落，很有味道。
