ROTARY 'GSE' LITERACY --.

Rotary 'GSE' Literacy" gse3500taiwan.edublogs.org/

10-001-1 Thank you - Archi, Dens, Ken, Phil 多謝啦"Toh-Sha-La"

 [Vincent Lu a.k.a. PP Language, Taoyuan Rotary Club, D3500]

Archi, Dens, Phil! Thank you ALL for inspiring me to build and be dedicated to this web log for GSE.

As an average Rotarian why am I so bold (maybe crazy) to start a web log like this "GSE 3500 Taiwan"? The answer is simple.
"I have seen quite a few Rotarians setting good models with their dedication and passion."
They are Archi PDG of D3500, Phil PDG of D7690 Piedmont NC, USA, Dens PDG of D3480, Ken PDG of D3500 (my boss when I served as club president in 2006-2007), Ann Hanks, GSE Coordinator of D7690, and more.)

In the last nine months, I have been experiencing what GSE is, pooling time and bodily, mental and emotional strength into exploration of GSE program and respectful Rotarians having been dedicated to GSE so much to make what GSE is today. I have a long story to tell but I simply want to make it short.
Simply put "I see growth in myself when D3500 GSE team grows."
GSE is a miracle to me and makes me part of the miracle.

So, thank you ALL, I would not be able to view GSE so differently from nine months ago without you - you have made the miracle happen.

10-001 What's GSE? GSE

 [Compiled by Vincent Lu - a.k.a. PP Language, Taoyuan Rotary Club, 3500 Taiwan ]

GSE - Group Study Exchange (GSE) is an educational program provided by The Rotary Foundation.
- The program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity.
- The program is for businesspeople and professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 and in the early stages of their careers.
- The program provides travel grants - for teams to exchange visits in paired areas of different countries.

For four to six weeks, team members:
- experience the host country's culture and institutions,
- observe how their vocations are practiced abroad,
- develop personal and professional relationships, and
- exchange ideas.

- 這個方案是天下獨一無二的 "好孔機會" 目的是 "文化交流" 及 "職業交流";
- 這個方案 只有 - 年齡滿25歲而且未超過40歲的 各行各業青年及專業人士 - 才有資格參加;
