由Denton開車過來要1.5小時
沿途就看遠方還是一望無際
路愈走愈荒涼，已經沒有舖薄油路

這邊的教會，每年總會為國際學生辦一次campout
幾個學校的學生加起來100多人
就要在這個農場渡過兩天一夜
體驗一下農村生活
教會按排了許多活動，除了騎馬
還可以騎這頭長角牛(Longhorn)
長角牛可是德州特產
牠的祖先們曾在德州大陸上奔跑

5/29(一) Mckinney Fall State Park→
State capitol→Austin downtown→Dallas
昨晚在露營地發生一段小插曲
一對黑人男女在晚上十點多來到我們的營地
見我們只有一台小房車
於是騙我們，他們跟隔壁營地的人是一起來的
想要我們挪一點車位讓他們放露營車
誰知才停好車，公園警察就來了
在一陣冗長的盤問之後
原來他們沒有申請營地，是偷渡進來的
還好警察沒來責罵我們亂收留人

因為美國最大的一州是阿拉斯加，但它未與美國本土相連結，
所以正確一點的說，德州是美國第二大州。
德州的陸地面積是台灣的18.8倍，
如果再加上水域面積則是台灣的19.2倍，
大家應該可以想像德州有多大了吧!
就因為德州很大，所以不容易發展出便捷的公車系統，所以更不用說地鐵囉!
