GRE有什麼可怕的

我的記法可能有點小低級 希望大家不要介意

1. Ascetic 禁慾的

As = ass cet = sit ass+sit = 屁股坐著不亂跑 = 禁慾的

2. Covetous 貪心的

co = 臺語的"很摳" 的 co Vet = 獸醫院 很摳的獸醫 = 貪心的

3. Hedonistic 貪圖享樂的

He do not like Nissan (He like BMW)
(所以是貪圖享樂的)

4. Desultory 散漫的

de = 沒有 sult = salt 煮飯忘了加鹽 = 散漫的

5. Obstreperous 吵鬧的

Obs = obese = 胖子 trep = trap = 陷阱

胖子掉進陷阱會不停的高聲尖叫 = 吵鬧的

6. Skittish 善變的

s = small kitti = kitten 脾氣像小貓不停的跳來跳去 = 善變的

7. Bounteous 大量的

big amount

8. Profuse 極其豐富的;充沛的;過多的

prof = professor use a lot of money = 過多的

9. Cursory 粗心的

Curs = curse sory = sorry

"X的~你怎麼做的那麼爛阿(curse)" "Sorry啦"

10. Finicky 挑剔的

Fini = finish icky = quickly

"喂! 你要finish quickly喔"

Deprecate : (1) to deplore something (2) to belittle something or to treat it as unimportant.

3. Judicious 睿智的

美國有一個show 叫 Judge Judy (電視法庭)
so Judy 是睿智的

4. largesse 慷慨的 (心很寬大)
