My friend thought about one day trip to Tainan and KHH.
I believe we should visit one city only instead of 2 cities.
But our main purpose is local food and meet some friends. Maybe 2 cities is ok?
Anyway this short trip is still on planning stage.
WOW! 3 weeks. Your vacation is longer than mine.

I thought you just went back to TWN not long ago,em??? Another trip again?!- you're more lucky than me!
My last trip was Nov. 06. Can't afford often trips as it's so costy! But I do "miss" the foods there A LOT!!!
1-day trip to TNN & KHH- don't you think it's too rush?
There are so many things (besides eat/foods) in both cities- if that's your fist time visit.
TNN- An-Ping Castle, Fort and the famous 安平豆花, 蚵仔煎, 周氏蝦捲, plus my favorites at 市場內的鼎邊措(sorry I forgot how to write it correctly),蝦仁肉員 and 菜粽!!!
Oh, I miss my little home town-An Ping and I'll go visit again in March, lalala! :-)
then, i think we need to go ealy on 14th ?
so we arrived there early??

Hi there,
For those foods you listed above in Tainan, I'll let you know where to eat by e-mail.
Not all of them are worthy though (my own opinion).
There are some good ones maybe listed on the website but the local Tainanese would know where to eat!

About lunch at 101, I think the options may seem limited. Of course, we can go to the one we usually go, but I hope they can provide better service with the money we paid.
"台南有很多地方小吃”Yes, I took my husband there once and just one block we are finished. Our stomach is full and cannot eat anymore. If you are planning to take express train, maybe you also want to check out the seating availability. The seats can be very tight during new year season.
My husband will be coming back to Seoul on 12th so after 12th I have more time for friends. I am already thinking about what gifts to bring with me, but my options are quiet limited as I consider Korea as a flavourless country. ^^; Most import goods can be rather expensive.
By the way, Frieda, will you visit the 歐舒丹outlet store before you come back to Taiwan?

One of my favorite Chinese restaurant is the Kiki. It is quiet famous because the owners are celberities. There is one location near my home, maybe we can get together for lunch. It is easier to order Chinese food when you have more people.
We havn't seen each other for almost 1 year? How is everything?
You guys can visit me in Seoul if you want, we have an extra guest suite and you guys can stay for free. But my kids can be really noisy. Haha.
If you are not going to the outlet, then it is okay. Please don't do it out of your way for me.
Do you guys want to buy Korean cosmetic? I think Laneige is a around 20% cheaper if I buy it at the airport duty free.

You can book and pay for the ticket online. The tickets can be picked up (i think 30 min) before you took the trip at their automated ticket machine. It is quiet convenient. In case you need to change the date or canceal the ticket; it is refundable. So don't worry about it.
I first took the express train last Feb to visit my grandmother before leaving for Korea, and there was not many travellers. But now it is quiet popular.

Time flies. Hard to believe it has been one year already.
It has been a good year for me. I like my current job. I picked up and finished some cross stitch projects.

Yes, time really flys. Lala, do you remember when you saw me pregant with the huge belly? My sons are already 1 1/2 year old.
So far, I think Korea is nice. Sometimes, it is really inconvenient if you compare Korea with Taiwan, but I try to make the best out of it and like my life here. Actually, the majority of the foreigners I know here cannot wait to go back to their home country. Most of them are staying here because of the better pays and job opportunities. Anyway, we have time to talk when we meet.
