用電影述說台灣人的歷史血淚--Formosa Betrayed 電影首映觀後有感

今年的二二八紀念日，過得特別有意義，因為當天晚上應邀到Beverly Hills的Writers Guild of America West, Theater觀賞Will Diao(刁毓能)編寫製作的電影 Formosa Betrayed 特別首映。

亨通的幾雙大鞋--惠澤 為亨通而寫

這是二哥惠澤為過世的三哥亨通而寫的悼文，我將它從英文翻成漢文版

(英文版已post在前一篇日誌，英文裡的「大鞋」是指令人景仰的英雄典範。)


亨通有很多雙大鞋子！


亨通排行老三，是我們家五個孩子最中間的一個。小時候，亨通就是一個溫文有禮的男孩子，也是我們家兄弟姊妹當中最有趣也最有天賦的一個。他功課好，寫得一手漂亮的毛筆字、水彩畫也嗄嗄叫；在眾多才華中，值得一提的是，他更是一個很棒的漫畫家。他的漫畫作品饒富幽默的反諷。他還在員林高中念書的時候，漫畫作品就曾在中央日報登出過，其中有一幅畫的是一間自動屠宰場和一位因此失了業的屠夫，他給這幅漫畫下的標題是︰「放下屠刀，立地成佛」。他早就比我們兩個較他年長的哥哥懂得人生。

Henton’s Big Shoes--By Hueitze (Whittak)

Henton has many pairs of big shoes !

Henton is number 3, the middle kid among the five of us.  When we were small, he was a mild mannered boy, but the funniest, and the most gifted of all. He was good in school, excellent in Chinese brush pen writing, water color, and most of all, he was a cartoonist.  His cartoon has a satiric humor.  When he was in Yuenlin high school, his cartoon was printed in the central daily news showing the automatic slaughter house and a butcher who is out of job with a title “put down your butcher’s knife, and you are an instant Budha.”   He understood life more than any of us older brothers. ...繼續閱讀

He ain't heavy, he's my brother—Remembering my dear brother Henton

My brother Whittak (Hueitze) translated my Kanji article for deploring the death of Henton so that we could share sadness with our English speaking relatives, friends and our children.

和阿兄一起聽「千の風になって」及Do not stand at my grave and weep兩首歌

我的老友文己寫email來安慰我，阿己也是員林的孩子，他是我高中同班、也是大學同班同學，情同兄弟，他也認識我去世的哥哥。阿己在信中說︰

『讀完你寫的文章，我可以想像你內心的哀痛，畢竟是手足情深，西班牙哲學家烏納穆諾在其著作「生命的悲劇意識」提到，有位腐儒說，一個人失去至親好友而哭泣，無濟於事，烏納穆諾則引用一位聖者的話說，「正是因為無濟於事，才哭泣！」，烏納穆諾認為「否定情感的價值，理智又有何用？」是的，老友應為亨通早逝盡情的哭！』
