Here in Manila, there are many churches...yes,many Filipinos are Catholic. I feel inspired by all of the beautiful church buildings.
By the way, I met an English physicist in the hotel. He told men a joke about a physicist named Dirac. One day, he gave a lecture on quantum physics. At the end of his lecture, he asked "Do you have any questions?"
"...err..I don't understand the second equation," one of his students said.
"That's not a question, that's a statement."
I am not sure if I think that joke is funny or not. Do you?
Well, I gotta eat some more and then go to bed,

Hi, how are you today?
I left Manila for Mindanao Island this morning. There are so many islands in this area, and Mindanao is a relatively large one.
I'll stay at a hotel near the beach tonight. I took the picture this morning. Enjoy!
You'll get a kick out of this picture! This is where I'm staying tonight!!! It's cooler up there. It reminds of me my childhood.

……原來靠海的旅館是這樹屋,而且為什麼會讓他想起孩提時代?明明我是個從小在都市長大的台北俗啊!

Hello from Cebu Island!
I had a good sleep in Mindanao, and left for Cebu this morning.
I visited a well-known guitar factory here. I am learning a lot, but eating a lot more than I am learning, I am afraid.
Well, if I don't do any serious shopping, I will at least bring back some good memories of fabulous meals!

…看到這我只想說,扛支吉他旅行不重嗎?雖然當個走唱少年感覺很酷。

Hi, J. Y!
I walked alone the beach, and saw a statue of Lapu Lapu. He fought against Magellan in 1521. I'm sending you the picture.
I'm not sure where I'll go tomorrow. But I know that whereever I am, I will find the best place to eat in town. I have just been so lucky in finding great restaurants.
Bye This is the man who fought against Magellan in 1521.
原來Mo的強項是尋找餐廳!!

Hi J. Y
Magandang umaga po!
That means good morning in Tagalog!. I actually learned how to say something besides "Where is the best restaurant in town?"
Did you have a good sleep last night?
I met some Japanese on a group tour at my restaurant last night. They invited me to go along with them on their day trip. So, I joined them and came to Palawan Island this morning.
This is another nice place. We all tried jet skiing. Have you tried it? If not, you have got to try it someday....maybe here in Palawan. But, I have to admit that after falling on my face in the water for an hour, I was ready for a big dinner. We had grilled swordfish in a beach side tavern. I liked that meal best of all so far - eating under the stars after a long, adventurous day!
Have a good day!
Mo Jet Skiing in Palawan Island, Philippines. What an exciting day!
難得寫了封較長的信件,不過內容大多關於食物,看得我都餓了。

Hi, J. Y!
How are you?
I'm sending you a picture of the house where I'm staying tonight. This is my last night in The Philippines.
I leave tomorrow much more relaxed and happier than when I came! But, I had to buy some new clothes here because the few things I brought don't really fit anymore! I didn't know you could gain 10 Kilos in a week.
I'll see you soon, and I hope you recognize me!
Mo This is the house I stayed in Palawan Island, Philippines.
