曾經製作過Mew和Kashmir音樂，獲得丹麥葛來美音樂獎項的丹麥製作人Joshua (aka JOn ScHUmAnn)十一月十三號在自己的Myspace Blog上透露，他將前往紐約和Kent在紐約的Allaire Studios錄製新專輯！！而官網討論區裡版主提到Kent在紐約錄音到十一月二十一日，隨後他們回到斯德哥爾摩繼續新專輯的錄音，討論區裡又有謠言說這次的新專輯可能會有英文和瑞典文版本？？？其實他們唱什麼語言都好，但是如果是英文版本他們的音樂可以讓更多人聽到，是Kent阿！！！那麼棒的作品是值得讓更多人認識他們的，摘錄製作人Joshua在blog裡關於新專輯的文字內容：
Hello everyone,
I am proud to tell you all that on Sunday I will be flying out to New York to start recordings for the next album with wonderful, great and brilliant Swedish (2/5th's, anyway...) band KENT. I have been a fan since their earliest work and I am just so damned proud to be working with such a great bunch of guys. I have been back and forth to Stockholm a few times over the last months, just vibing, talking and listening to demos. I can't wait to get started! The songs are wonderful, powerful, quirky and so... Kent. It is just the way we love them! The guys are definitely trying new paths and exploring their strengths at the same time... Anyway, by the time most of you read this, I will be overlooking the beautiful Shokan Reservoir in Upstate New York. Life is, occasionally, very good to me.
他真真是個fan耶！！連Kent裡面有三隻其實不是瑞典血統的事也知道，讀了他聽過新歌demos的形容：wonderful, powerful, quirky, and SO KENT...... 還有他之前製作過Mew和Kashmir音樂的經驗，I MUST SAY THAT I REALLY CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
期待新專輯啦！！！！！
ps. 他的myspace上放的新歌蠻好聽的，是他最近新合作的女歌手，越南血統英國出生，目前居住在丹麥的Catherine Tran。很kent很mew的旋律，也推一下。

We don't care at all if the songs will be able to do live this time.
It's so limited.
If we want to use a Japanese chainsaw choir we'll do that.
This record will NOT sound like some idiots from Tuna in some fucking rehearsal room.
It will sound like some idiots from Tuna who have gone bananas. Totally.
