今年是台灣在國際舞台上相當耀眼的一年。我們有高雄的世運與台北的聽障奧運，將世界級的運動競技與精神在台灣展現，卻也有重創台灣的莫拉克風災，讓全世界的祝福與善心泉湧般注入到台灣這片土地。

當運動選手們在競技場上一次又一次的挑戰自我極限的同時，南台灣的受災民眾正在承受著生命的極大挑戰。各方的資源與如火如荼展開的賑災行動，再度呈現了台灣人民的韌性與團結。我們相信除了對於災區的居民與賑災工作者與志工們的精神和物質上的支持之外，這次的危機，也是我們共同思考轉機的最佳時刻，如同運動家的精神，在每一次的挫敗中，找尋下一次突破的契機，以爭取成功的未來！　

九月二十七日，邀請您來參與一個不一樣的討論會，不論您本身或親友是否是受災戶、不論您是否曾參與賑災活動，不論您是否具有專業技能，只要您跟我們同樣關心這個危機與轉機，有參與討論與分享的意願與熱忱，我們都歡迎您一起來找尋任何可以讓台灣~復原. 療癒. 茁壯….迎向未來的可能性!

我們將運用『開放空間會議』方式進行整天的活動，在開放空間裡，由所有參與者共創討論主題、每個人都可以是主持人、每個人的想法都有機會提出來；每個人可以輕鬆自在地加入有興趣的話題，提出你的經驗、你的創意；也可以放心去聆聽別人的想法和意見，互相激發也互相學習。透過討論、透過互相學習一起來探索可以各自或共同努力的焦點。

一個人的力量有限，一群人的力量卻可以是無窮！台灣的『復原. 療癒. 茁壯….迎向未來』，需要你我、不分年齡、性別、職業、族群，一起來創造與努力，誠摯地請您帶著您的熱情與關心一起來參加!

Today we receive daily updates from Facebook and hourly updates from Twitter. We Google words, compose our messages using NLP techniques, and SMS on the run—all with the purpose of communicating more quickly and efficiently. Traditional methods of communication face obsolescence and extinction as we accelerate forward at warp speed. While technology changes some ways of communication, others remain firmly granded in traditional methods due to their effectiveness. In this program we will take a look at the various types of communication, tools and methodolgies of the past and present, and then look to the future and map out how we need to prepare in our roles as communicators, facilitators, and leaders.

即興劇是一種冒險性十足的戲劇形式，沒有劇本、未經排練，挑戰演員的勇氣、合作度、臨場反應。乍聽之下好像很難，其實你我都有與生俱來的即興能力，幫助我們度過每一個未知的日子。包括專業演員、老師、社工、動畫師、引導師、電腦工程師、企業主管、大學生等，都是常見的即興劇愛好者，許多更將即興劇訓練應用在他們的工作中，不論任何人，在生活中或舞台上，都需要好的即興能力，它將讓你變得更勇敢、更正面、更無畏無懼地表現自己與生俱來充滿創意的一面。這個單次體驗的論壇活動，將為你簡介什麼是即興劇，認識即興劇基礎術語，在引導師的帶領下，從暖身開始，放鬆、專注、打開心胸、堆疊點子、放掉自我中心，和伙伴開心地玩在一起、打成一片。從即興中找回更有趣、更靈活、更合群、更有想像力的自己。

內容:
破冰與基礎概念: 破冰、默契、丟與接、即興基礎術語
讚頌失敗吵翻你的腦袋，讚送並享受失敗，大膽接受自己的平凡與無聊
團體即興創作聆聽與被聆聽，接受彼此的點子，讓對手發光團隊堆疊點子，與不同腦袋在未知與默契中即興創作

學員自備：方便活動之衣褲、可以久站的鞋子，足夠的飲用水，快速補充能量的小點心。

Improv is a theatre format without scripts and rehearsals. The actors go on the stage without any idea what they are going to perform. It sounds scary. But actually we all know how to improvise, that is how we get through the day to day life without knowing what is going to happen. Hsiao-Hsien Wu from Guts Improv Theatre is going to introduce this adventurous theatre format to you. Regardless of your experience, background or training, Hsiao-Hsien believes that everybody can benefit from studying improv. And you'll be amazed at how the improv concepts apply to your life both on and off stage. This is an involving, fun class, which gives you the opportunities to play and perform in a friendly atmosphere. We will chat about "what is improv" and teach you some of the basic vocabularies. We'll play improv games which allow you to listen, play, be creative and build something together that you couldn’t make on your own.

Playback(中文譯為一人一故事劇場)，是一種即興表演的民眾劇場，由台下的觀眾提供自身的感受或經驗為故事，台上的演員立即用簡單有系統的表演形式將故事呈現出來。發表人從事此劇場推廣教育多年，體會到此劇場主要目的是運用生活故事為互動媒介來同理、容納每一個人的喜怒哀樂，藉以創造一個人性的聆聽空間，從此角度進而相互學習。所以將於論壇中分享如何應用此劇場技巧於引導過程中，讓其他引導人夥伴也能從人生中的戲劇看到真實、領略美好。這次論壇活動學習到Playback的基本概念與應用、體驗Playback技巧的操作與運用，以及感受故事的力量與全體分享的智慧。

Playback is the People's Theater of a kind of improvisation, it is a story to offer one's own feeling or experience by audience under the platform, the performer on the platform is by having a systematic performance form to present out the story briefly immediately.

Josephine has involved to the theater education promotion for many years. She realize the main purpose to use life story come the same, hold everyone's happiness, anger, grief and joy for interdynamic media theater can creates listening and learn from each other.

In this forum, Josephine will share how to apply the theater skill in facilitation and enable other facilitators to see the truth and beauty from the drama of life. You will have basic conception and application, also experienced the skills of operations and application ,learns the power of story and intelligence which all shared.

主題：頭痛時刻－模擬領導能力!

不管是刪減預算、減少主管人數、縮編或增加工作量，每一個主管或多或少都會面臨一些棘手的問題--決策的頭痛時刻。在這一次互動模擬過程中，參加者會面對幾個棘手的問題而必須做出決定。分成不同小組，參加者互相分享決策背後的理由，學習彼此過去的經驗，進而建立出在未來可以協助做成決定的原則。在一個安全的環境以模擬的方法來操作、討論如何對棘手的問題做出決策，會讓參加者在真實生活中事先做好準備。

這次的活動練習屬於一個大型計畫中的核心部分，試圖幫助領導者竭力做出困難決策的結果。課程會探索一些不同面向對於，包含組織、部屬及領導者本身的衝擊。這個模擬練習由Jim Clark 以及 Dr. Chuck Petranek 共同設計。Dr. Chuck Petranek 是位社會學教授，曾經以多元主題如阿茲海默症、災後援救、酗酒及愛滋來設計過各種不同的社會現象模擬。

Jim Clark是個國際知名的學習遊戲與模擬設計者以及引導師，他個人的中心信仰是：學習者只學習他想學習的。這二十年來，Jim 足跡踏遍亞洲，他以有意義的活動及模擬加上團隊引導，參與帶領過小自五人，大至500人的團體，啟發出團隊深層的智慧，並將這智慧運用於實際行動。

Invitation to Facilitators Forum for November

Topic: Tough Decisions - A Leadership Simulation！

Facilitator: Jim Clark

Whether it is cutting budgets, reducing head count, closing offices or taking on more work, every leader faces times of tough decisions. In this interactive simulation, participants will have a number of tough decisions that they must make, with some tough results. Played in small groups, fellow participants will share rationales for their decisions, learn from each other's past experiences, and create principles to assist them with their future tough decisions. By practicing and discussing tough decisions in the safe environment of the simulation, participants will be better prepared for making the tough decisions in their real lives.

This activity is the centerpiece of a larger program that helps leaders come to grips with the results of making tough decisions. The course explores a number of domains including impact on the organization, subordinates, and the leader themselves. The Simulation is co-designed by Jim Clark and Dr. Chuck Petranek, a professor of Sociology who has designed a variety of social simulations covering a diverse array of topics including Alzheimers, Disaster Relief, Alcoholism and AIDS.

About Facilitator: Jim Clark

Jim Clark is an internationally recognized learning games and simulation designer and facilitator whose central belief is "The Learner learns what The Learner wants to learn." For more than 20 years, Jim has been engaging groups sizing from 5 to 500 all across Asia through the use of meaningful activities and simulations combined with group facilitation skills to tap the deeper wisdom of the group, and transfer that wisdom into action.

此次論壇活動我們將邀請來自新加坡的Anita Yap, 透過隱喻、音樂、詩、沉靜省思以及團體對話的方式，帶領大家探索三種「活出有目的人生」的選擇：-選擇負責任-選擇有意識-選擇繼續成長活動中Anita將引用Robert K Greenleaf的文章：選擇有目地的人生，文章中Robert K Greenleaf指出有六種選擇。Robert K Greenleaf以「僕役式領導」著稱，該文發表於1970年，但時至今日仍繼續影響許多深思熟慮的領導者。彼得聖吉Peter Senge曾說：Greenleaf的洞察力解釋了當前許多組織機構的「無為領導」。在這些組織中，被拔擢為領導者大部分是因為他們的技術專業、決策技巧、政治理解或者基於財富及權力的慾望目前，有兩所Robert K Greenleaf 「僕役式領導力」中心，一所在美國Indianapolis，另一所亞洲中心則是六年前在新加坡成立。本次論壇的引導師 Anita Yap 小姐，是新加坡中心創立志工之一，也是該中心特約引導師。
關於引導師：Anita Yap
Anita 是Entheos公司創辦人、總教練與引導師。Entheos公司致力於促成個人及組織經由對話、學習與啟發行動來達到目標。身為訓練師與引導師，Anita對於去幫助參與者將在教室學到的技能與知識轉化到工作及個人生活充滿熱情。參加過Anita工作坊的人，描述Anita：能激勵人心、專業以及隨時散發熱忱與激情。Anita服務過的地區包括：新加坡、中國大陸、寮國、柬埔寨、澳門、緬甸、越南及台灣。是一位精力充沛又具國際經驗的引導師。 Anita是IAF國際引導者協會之認證引導師，也是一位Participation^TM認證引導師。目前她為新加坡公務人力學院訓練師及亞洲Greenleaf Centre特約引導師。這次論壇將以英文進行，現場將視志工人力提供翻譯。

Through metaphors, music, poetry, silent reflections and group conversations, we will explore 3 Choices for Living a Life with Purpose:Choosing to Be ResponsibleChoosing to Be AwareChoosing to Grow The session will draw on Robert K Greenleaf's essay on Choosing a Life with Purpose where he had identified 6 key choices. Robert K Greenleaf is best known for his seminal essay "The Servant as Leader" published in 1970 which today continues to influence many thought-leaders of today. About Greenleaf, Peter Senge has said, "His insights go a long way toward explaining the “leaderlessness” of most contemporary institutions, guided as they are by people who have risen to positions of authority because of technical or decision-making skills, political savvy, or a desire for wealth and power". Today, there are two Robert K Greenleaf Centre for Servant-Leadership; one based in Indianapolis, USA and the other Asia centre is based in Singapore. The facilitator for the session is Ms Anita Yap, one of the founding volunteers and adjunct Facilitator for the Greenleaf Centre for Servant Leadership (Asia) which was started 6 years ago.

About Facilitator: Anita Yap
Anita Yap is the Founder, Principal Coach & Facilitator of Entheos, a firm dedicated to enabling individuals and organizations to achieve their goals through dialogue, learning and inspired actions. As a Trainer & Facilitator, Anita has a passion for enabling her participants to transfer the skills and knowledge from the classroom to their work and personal life. Participants who have experienced Anita’s workshops have described her as “inspiring”, “professional” and “exuding passion and enthusiasm”. An energetic facilitator with international experience, Anita has worked with clients in Singapore, China, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Myanmar, Taiwan and Vietnam. Anita is a Certified Professional Facilitator of the International Association of Facilitators and Certified Facilitator in the Technology of Participation^TM methods. Do you want to become an IAF Certified Professional Facilitator and don’t know where to begin?No matter you are a beginner in this journey or an experienced facilitator, this session would be helpful for you to take a good look at where you are and locate where to develop further.In this session, the 6 core competencies of IAF CPF will be the main framework. Experiential approach will help the participants link their experience of facilitation/being facilitated to locate behavior evidences. Through simulation of assessment interviews, participants will have the opportunities to play assessors or candidates to experience part of the international assessment. At the same time, the presenter will help people share and integrate all kinds of paths to cultivate each of the 6 competencies to build a shared database. After self-evaluation of current personal competency level, a personal roadmap will be crafted for future development.

About the Facilitator: Percy P. Shih
Percy graduated from the Mathematics Department of Normal University and the Master of National Chiao Tung University and the PHD candidate of Montana State University. Currently he is working for Postal Service Training Institute. He was the chief, executive secretary, specialist, CIS director, and lecture in Postal Services Bureau. He is sitting the advisor to Chinese Organizational Learning Association, and the core lecturer of knowledge economic of Executive Yuan. 關於引導者：薛碧雯
碧雯是ICA認證的引導師。過去她任職於金融業，擅長對內與外部的協調、工作流程的改善，協助部門達成專案目標；對於組織中人們的行為、組織和環境的改變，有親身的經驗和觀察。2006年成為專任引導師之後，她參與過營利組織、及非營利組織的專案工作。專案的類型有：團隊凝聚、願景共創、策略與行動規劃、開放空間會議。她個人喜愛學習，重視個人的成長、覺知和改變，她廣泛的學習範圍包括：心理學、教練、花精花藥、即興表演、禪修等。目前她是開放智慧的特約引導師。

There are a lot of incredible energies in our bodies, flowing with imagination and the abilities of creativeness and self healing. You can explore your deep level of creativeness, and extend your self-expression by interactive activities in an improvisational way. You can connect yourself with the group to deepen the self-existence, also simultaneously to reach the harmony with the environment through the interactive programs in the theater style.

In the workshop, we will focus on the subjects of expression and creativities with which to deepen the trust level on self body and meaningful contact with others, and furthermore to connect indusial to the whole group through improvisational programs.

We invite you to come to join us with a relaxed mood to fully participate in this activity. You will experience an unforgettable and enjoyable evening!

Tara is an ICA certified facilitator. Before she became a facilitator, she worked in asset management and investment companies. About the Facilitator: Peisan YU
Peisan is a professional group facilitator and personal life coach. She’s also a certified ICA facilitator. She’s been an avid promoter of creative thinking—from the journey of personal learning, to the level of team cooperation and organizational innovation—and has thus been recognized for her achievement not only among the educators, but also in the business sector as well.
Peisan likes considers herself an inspirer. She is full of innovative ideas and audacity to try out new approach and new perspectives. Currently she is committed to integrate her expertise in group facilitation, creative thinking and organizational innovation into programs of educational training and corporate service.

Peisan is now an associate professor at the Dept of Business Administration of Tung-Hai University. She has also been the director of Creative Dynamics Learning Center (CDLC) since 2005, which is a part of the 4-year long Teaching Excellence Project subsidized by the Ministry of Education. She has a Ph.D. degree in Marketing at the University of Cincinnati and an M.A. degree in Advertising at Michigan State U., USA.

「被壓迫者劇場」(Theater of the Oppressed) 是國際級的巴西導演也是政治家奧古斯圖‧波瓦 (Augusto Boal, 1931-) 所提出及倡導的一套劇場理論，積極鼓吹戲劇活動是每一個人(尤其是被壓迫的人) 都可以掌握的表達工具。「被壓迫者劇場」讓人們在劇場式的練習當中，以互動及體驗式的方式互相探索共同的主題，是一起玩耍並學習的對話遊戲。

這次的論壇，我們將經歷兩個「被壓迫者劇場」對話遊戲，主要的一個叫做“權力的偉大遊戲 (The Great Game of Power)，經由不同桌椅的擺設，視覺的想像力及互動的討論，我們將探討權力與領導力的關係，權力在團隊或組織中的影響，或是權力在生活中所扮演的角色。

您將經歷的這兩個對話遊戲簡單有力，容易應用，又不需要什麼道具。只要帶著輕鬆的心情來，敞開您的心胸全心參與，您將體驗一個有趣又有學習的夜晚！

關於引導者：蔡金楓
金楓畢業於美國加州大學洛杉磯分校的經濟/商學系，是一位 ICA 認證引導師。2001 年初她在所任職的跨國企業 - 習技股份有限公司(ALE 及迪士尼美語世界)裡協助內部引導師及訓練師而接觸了團隊引導。從此之後，金楓將團隊引導與許多方面結合而廣獲好評。其中涵蓋了團隊建立，銷售與客服訓練及國內外旅遊。她也熱衷於在許多團隊引導場合中擔任中英英中口譯的角色。金楓是持有執照的導遊及領隊，參與了2006 年IAF北美年會及2007年北美模擬與遊戲協會年會，目前為開放智慧特約引導師。

Theatre of the Oppressed is a groundbreaking theater method created by an internationally renowned Brazilian director Augusto Boal. He encourages people (especially the oppressed ones) to use theater exercises as an effective expression tool. Theatre of the Oppressed is an “arsenal” of theater exercises for non-theater-people that support the mutual exploration of a topic in an interactive, experiential, teambuilding way.

In this Forum, two of Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed exercises will be introduced. The main exercise is called “The Great Game of Power” – through the different arrangements of table and chairs and the visual imagine power, we will be able to explore the relationship between leadership and power and other issues of power that are inherently included in all that we do.

The two games or exercises you will experience are simple and powerful, readily transferable, easy to facilitate, yet highly sophisticated activities that participants enjoy. Just relax and be open-minded to participate in this fun and learning night!

About the Facilitator: Elizabeth Tsai (E.T.)
Elizabeth has a degree in Economics/Business from University of California, Los Angeles. She is a certified ICA/FCP facilitator. She first came in touch of facilitation in 2001 working as an in-house facilitator and trainer assistant at an international English products and services marketing company (Learning Technologies – ALE and Disney World of English). Since then, she has devoted her time in the integration of facilitation and various areas like team building activities, sales & customer services training and conferences, travel tours in Taiwan and overseas.
Elizabeth has also worked as an interpreter in numerous corporate meetings and trainings. She is a Taiwan licensed tour guide and tour manager. She attended the 2006 IAF Conference and 2007 North American Simulation and Gaming Association Conference. She is now an associate facilitator at Open Quest.

這次的論壇，我們將進行一場「蘇格拉底對話」。

蘇格拉底對話是有組織地回答某些大問題的方法。進行方式是針對一個主題，直接根據參與者的經驗來進行哲學式的探索，尋求對這個主題直接又精確的內涵與意義的了解。這是在學院外的討論，無關乎名人或名著的觀點，而是關於參與者你自己的想法、及其他人與團體的想法，而不是靠哲學吃飯的人的想法。

在蘇格拉底對話當中，你不可能期待在這樣的一場討論會當中，能獲得全體一致的看法。但你可以從這對話當中得到：一個挑戰別人的觀點、或讓自己的觀點接受挑戰、並學習如何協調或忍受相反觀點的機會。不論這個挑戰最後是強化或顛覆你的立場，你及團體對討論主題的內涵與意義的思考及了解將更清晰。

「The Socrates dialogue」 is a method to systematically answer some big issues. The process is to explore the direct and accurate insights and understanding on one subject from participants’ experience in a philosophic way.

It is not the academic discussion, and is nothing to do with the viewpoint from famous people or books. This is about the thoughts of you and others as the participants in the group. It’s impossible to anticipate to have consensus during the meeting in 「Socrates Dialogue」

But tonight, you will learn how to challenge others’ point of view or how your point of view to be challenged by others. You will also learn how to coordinate or bear the opposite opinions of yours from Socrates Dialogue.

About Facilitator: Alex R. Feng
Alex received his MA from Business School of National Taiwan University. He was the Vice President of Hardee Food Ltd, the Vice Chairman of TenRen Group, and the General Manager of Shanghai Sunrise Department Store.

Currently, Alex is the General Manager of ChingJen Management Consultants Ltd., the researcher in the Chinese Academy of Business, as well as the Teacher Chang of Mainland Affair Council and Senior Consultant of Beijing Management Academy of Science.

Alex teaches the courses on extend leadership, business strategy, management practice, communication meeting and Mainland Investment. He is not only a good listener and thoughtful person, but also a wizard in integration.

我們每天都身處在危機四伏的環境中。當這些意想不到的事件發生，有些組織、個人可以安然度過，甚至化危機為轉機，有些則否。有些組織或個人可以在危機發生前就做好各種的偵測與因應準備，雖然看似杞人憂天，但卻是能夠防患於未然，並且是順利化解危機的基礎。本月的引導者論壇，我們將透過影片的觀賞、省思及故事分享的方式來了解我們是如何面對危機，以及練習使用「羅盤Compass Rose」的架構來協助我們在不同的面向上，找出可能產生的議題及潛在的危機因子，並且進一步做好準備處之泰然的與它共存。

We live in a crisis-ridden environment everyday. As these unexpected incidents happen, some organizations or individuals can handle it very well and overcome it safely, and even turn the crisis into an opportunity. But some others cannot. If the organizations or individuals can find its way to detect the coming of the crisis and make good preparation before the crisis takes place. They are all the foundations of how to dissolve the crisis with the minimum damage. In this forum, we will learn more on how the crisis can be dealt with from movie watching, and then reflection and story sharing. We will also apply the framework of “Compass Rose” to find out where the issues are and how we live with them with confidence.

About Facilitator- Jackie Chang

Jackie is the certificated Facilitator by ICA (The Institute of Cultural Affairs), and now an Associate Facilitator of Open-Quest. Before Jackie stared a career in facilitation, she had had more than 17 years of experience working for public relation consultant agencies. Since 2005 Jackie has successfully applied and integrated group facilitation methods in PR marketing and communications to extensively conduct a series of spokesperson training, media training and marketing strategies courses. In 2007, she also completed the on-line Appreciative Inquiry course by David Cooperider, and joined the Open Space Learning Workshop. Jackie currently is the Taiwan Reprehensive of IAF (International Association of Facilitators), and the volunteer working for Taiwan Facilitators Forum.

In this past-paced session, participants will learn a dynamic and fun method to enable a group of people to rapidly become engaged with any topic that is important for the success of the particular facilitation exercise. TEXTRA! is a well-tested methodology to use when it is important that all participants are aligned on a body of "Subject Matter" to be able to continue with their work.

The big advantage of TEXTRA! is that it ensures participants are keenly engaged in the topic and will be well aligned on the key distinctions related to the topic or theme participants are working on.. The workshop will be a live demonstration in which participants will learn the TEXTRA! facilitation process by actually doing it.

Currently he is regional director, Asia-Pacific Edelman Academy, providing professional training workshops for 15 Edelman offices around Asia-Pacific.

She facilitated in National Youth Forum (NYF) in 2004. She also associated NYF facilitator training designing in 2005. 2007年就要接近尾聲了! 在此送舊迎新之際,我們要感謝您這一年來對論壇的支持與參與,並且預祝您在新的一年裡有更豐碩的學習收穫,並且事事順心如意.

在今年最後一次的論壇活動中,我們將準備特別的禮物,送給兩位今年的"最佳學習夥伴"在這近一年來,經常可以在論壇看到他們的身影,積極的參與及學習的精神,讓身為志工團隊的我們感到這是努力的最大的感動.

In the last forum of 2007, we will prepare special gifts for two participants in honor of “Best Learning Partner in 2007”. In the past year, we can always see them around in the forum activities. Their enthusiastic participation and aggressive learning spirits are in fact an invaluable reward for the work by the volunteer working team.

In order to extend the service experience and prepare the Annual Chinese Facilitators Conference in 2008, the volunteer working team of 2007 will continue to work for the forum in 2008. Shawn now is in the US to join a “Participatory Decision Making” workshop conducted by Sam Kaner’s company. We have invited Shawn to share what he learns from the workshop in this coming forum. He will lead us to experience the realistic group dynamics to reach consensus on decision-making. This will be a good opportunity to learn the newest tools and model of group decision-making. 極富經驗並自從2000年即開始運用”行動學習”(Action Learning)於工作中的David, 將在本次的論壇中，為我們示範及說明行動學習的基本原則，從活動開始到結束，將帶給參與者體驗所謂的行動學習。如果你已準備展開行動，千萬不要錯過這充滿學習與歡笑的聚會。

After all the planning, conversations, research, effort, changes, and revisions, you have just experienced a surprising result. The results are unwanted and unexpected, and that disappoints, frustrates, and angers you and your team.

How could this happen?

Whose fault is it?

Time to call for CSI!!!

In this case CSI does not stand for Crime Scene Investigation. It stands for Context, Strategy and Implementation, three of the primary drivers of results, and the first suspects to look to when figuring out what has happened, and creating strategies to improve future results.

One of the applications of CSI is it can be a methodology to shift energy from laying blame and making excuses to taking responsibility in yourself, and in groups you work with.

We invite you to come and investigate the results you have been surprised by, reach a new level of clarity around how those results might have happened, and create strategies to test for future improvement.

很多人都曾有擲錢幣來幫自己決定一項難以抉擇的事；而其中也有不少人在擲完錢幣來決定其中一項時，心中卻嘀咕、掛念著：「是不是擲錢幣前問錯了？」，還是「看錯錢幣正反面？」甚至「我還是重新再擲一次！」最後，不論結果如何，心中仍有對未知的結果懷著強調不確定感，深怕自己抉擇錯了！

人一生的命運中，本來就處處充斥著更種抉擇在等著我們。下一句話該怎麼說？下個路口該右轉還是直走？小孩這時候該安排學游泳還是英文？該買新式迴轉風扇還是以前相同好用的款式？該換個新的工作環境了嗎？下個月該去做個全身健康檢查還是先到大陸把那邊的公司走一趟？而抉擇後，結果的發展總有很多令人意外的事發生。

大部份的抉擇是自己決定，然而決定之前，卻是受到很多的因素左右。而且在面對不同種類的事情，也會發現「決定」所依循的原則不盡相同。

命運如果比喻成交響樂曲，每人各自從開頭主題到各段波瀾狀闊或是舒緩輕柔的曲風必然完全不同，而且在樂曲進行中一定交雜了很多很多人的參與和貢獻。

在此次論壇，引導者將引導參與者來細細品味每個人各自獨特樂章的不同小節，藉由引導的手法讓參與者窺探命運樂章究竟如何演奏。

論壇內容包括：

a. 引導參與者了解命運樂章的架構
b. 引導參與者思考自己的命運小章節並且與其他夥伴分享
c. 體驗「其他人」對自己命運的影響

關於引導者

近幾年Vincent在很多課程中，運用大量的引導手法，在本身的學習成長上有很大的成長和收穫。同時，在不少各機構帶領人格特質與風格的課程，有了一些對於人格養成的特別體悟。同時在很多運用引導手法過程中，

Topic : The Symphony of Destiny

Many people have experience of making a difficult decision by tossing the coin. But some of them still wonder whether or not the right question is asked before coin tossing or misunderstand the outcome from this? Some others may even try one more time to try to get the clear indication from the outcome. Eventually, whatever the outcome is, people still feel uncertain for making decision, and are deeply afraid that the wrong decision is made. :

There are many decisions, which await us to make along the course of our life. What to say next? Should I turn right or go straight on the next intersection? Should I arrange swimming or English course for my child? Should I buy a new style electric fan or stay with the same style with well function? Should I change a new job? Should I go to do a health check up or visit the office in Mainland China on next month? While the decision is made, the unexpected results may happen sometimes.

Most of decisions are made by ourselves. However, there are many factors to think over before the final decision is reached. In fact, different principle will be followed in decision making on the different issue.

Some decisions can be made very quickly, but some need some time to study them before the decision is made. It is more uncertain for settling issue when the consideration involves personal things and facts.

Destiny can be considered as symphony. From the theme of beginning to rhythm for every session, each person shall have the different style. When the symphony goes on, it must mix with lots of people’s participation and contribution

On this forum, Vincent will lead us to appreciating everyone’s unique rhythm, and further guide us to explore how destiny of symphony is to perform via facilitation methodologies.

Contents:

a. Understand the structure of “The Symphony of Destiny”
b. Reflection on personal chapter of his/her destiny and share with other participants
c. Experience the influence from “other people” to ourselves personal destiny

About Facilitator: Vincent Chen

In recent years, Vince has applied many facilitations methods in many courses, which lead course participants to developing some insights for building up the personal characteristic.

大家都知道，一般人通常只發揮自己所有能力的一小部分。因為錯用，忽視，以及甚至不良的訓練，讓人失去心智及身體全部的潛能。在過去二十年來，有很多方法被開發出來並學習恢復這些失去的能力，而珍.休斯頓博士則是這方面領域的翹楚。

在休士頓博士”人類的無限可能”The Possible Human”這本書中，描述了我們每一個人可以如何摒除障礙，以至於讓我們看的更多、聽的更多、記得更多，並且更靠近我們的內在的資源。在這本書中，她提出許多完整的練習方案，讓讀者可以很輕易的測試自己並且整合運用於生活中.

在這次的引導者論壇活動中，我們將從這本書中擷取數個練習，透過簡要的介紹及體驗，喚醒你的身體、記憶及甚至心靈，以強化你的身體、精神與創造力。並且讓大家能夠體會到心智、身體及心靈可以如何一起運作，為迎接這多變的世界做準備。即使受到阻礙而無法前進時，這些練習也能夠強化個人甚至團體繼續往前的能力。

任職於ICA的Evelyn，曾與休士頓博士一起合作在墨西哥、印度及台灣所舉辦的工作坊。Evelyn並且在數個國家成功地分享這些方法。Evelyn相當肯定這些練習，並且希望能夠與引導師們分享，擴展引導師們的經驗並且在工作旅程上充滿樂趣。

關於引導者- Evelyn Philbrook
Evelyn於1972年在舊金山加入ICA。在1973年冬天她出席ICA位於芝加哥的研究院，並且在次年受邀加入教學團隊。她曾參與第76屆市民大會，並且在加州、奧克拉荷馬、德州、田納西州、密西西比州、喬治亞州及北卡羅萊納州等，擔任工作坊領導者與團隊引導師。
她在北卡羅萊納州吉伯森市首次參與社區發展專案，並且轉任至奈及利亞。從此她致力於肯亞、菲律賓、馬來西亞以及台灣的社區工作。她將引導的方法運用到私人企業包括3M、飛利浦莫理斯、以及在80年代初期於奈及利亞的國家橡膠板公司。
自1991年至2006年，她於美國學校擔任行政經理並同時繼續為ICA兼職工作。今年她再次全職加入ICA台灣的工作團隊，同時也是國際ICA的董事。

Everyone knows that we use only a fraction of our total capacities. Through misuse, neglect, and even bad training, all of us have lost the full potential of our minds and bodies.
In the past two decades, much has been learned about reclaiming these lost abilities.
Houston, the leading exponent in this area.

In her book “The Possible Human”, describes how each of us can remove blocks so that we can see more, hear more, remember more, and draw on more of our inner resources. She offers a comprehensive program of exercises through which the reader can test her conclusions and integrate them into his or her own life.

In the forum, we will apply the exercises have been taken from “the Possible Human”
: a course in enhancing your physical, mental, and creative abilities through a brief introduction to awaken the body, the memory and possibly the spirit. We will explore only a few exercises to bring awareness to how the mind, body and spirit works together in preparing for change in this world. These exercises enable individuals and therefore groups who are blocked to move forward in their process.

Evelyn Kurihara Philbrook of ICA Taiwan worked with Jean in workshops in Oaxtapec, Mexico, Lonovala, India, and Shimen Dam, Taiwan. She has effectively shared this work in several countries. Evelyn values these exercises and wishes to a share a few of them with facilitators to expand their experiences and have fun on their journey.

About Facilitator- Evelyn Philbrook
Evelyn joined the Institute of Cultural Affairs in 1972 in San Francisco. She attended the ICA’s Academy in Chicago in the winter of 1973 and was invited to join the faculty in the following year. She participated in the Town Meeting 76 campaign and was both a workshop leader and group facilitator in the states of California, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia and North Carolina.
She worked with community development projects first in Gibson North Carolina and was transferred to the project in Ijede, Ikorodu, Nigeria. Since then she has worked in communities in Kenya, the Philippines, Malaysia and Taiwan. She expanded her facilitation practice to include companies such as 3M, Philip Morris and the National Rubber Board in Nigeria in the early eighties.
From 1991 – 2006 she became the office manager of the high school working at Taipei American School while continuing to work part time with ICA Taiwan. She has rejoined the ICA this past year as a staff of ICA Taiwan and an ICA International Director.

主題：家族排列的奧秘－創造愛的療癒空間

家族排列（Family Constellation）是由德國當代大師伯特.海寧格(Bert Hellinger)所發展出來。海寧格發現每一家庭都有一股隱藏的家庭動力，家庭中的每一個成員都會受到這股動力的影響，而這個動力是在集體潛意識(collective unconscious)的深處，一般人不容易察覺。在家庭中所發生的許多事件都是和抵觸這股力量有關，而使整個家庭的“愛的序位“(Orders of Love)受到干擾，有的時候這些事件還會重複發生，延續到下一代。

家族排列的功能，就是要協助我們辨識家庭系統背後的狀況，把隱藏在集體潛意識的動力，藉由這個方法帶到光亮的地方，讓我們看清楚真相。同時也能找出愛的解決的途徑，調整被干擾的家庭系統，讓愛重新在家庭中流動，發現關係中的愛。

論壇內容包括：

１、個人與整體－體驗<集體潛意識>的場域
２、愛的移動（Movement of Love）－發現關係中的愛
３、和解的力量－與生命根源力量的連結

關於引導者:吳文傑

文傑為一助人工作者，擁有二十五年以上的助人歷程。他曾任大學講師、青少年犯罪社工員、921災後心理重建工作等。1990年，文傑曾與人生禪(Life Zen)陳建宇老師學禪，深受啟發，嘗試將東方禪的智慧與西方的心理治療結合，發展出<身心靈整合協助方案>。從2001年起，文傑在學校、社區及成長團體帶領300場以上的【家族排列工作坊】，嘗試將<家族排列>運用到更多助人的領域，包括：自殺者家屬、家暴／受虐兒、自閉症、憂鬱症、上癮症、臨終關懷、單親家庭、罕見疾病家庭等，在台灣已經和幾百個家庭工作過，有豐富的實務經驗。神經語言學(N L P)高階執行師(Master Practitioner)，家族排列執行師（Family Constellation Practitioner）臨床心理學碩士。

The “Family Constellation” is developed by the contemporary master, Bert Hellinger in Germany. Heininger revealed that every family has its hiding family power which affects each member of the family. The power is underling the deep of collective subconscious which is not easy to be aware of by general public. Many events occurred in the family usually in conflict with collective subconscious and break the “Orders of Love” in the family. These events will repeat to next generation sometimes.

The functions of Family Constellation help us to recognize the condition behind the family system and bring out the underlying power of collective unconscious to surface, which shows us the truth clearly. In addition, it help us to find out the love solutions, adjust the interfered family system, uncover the love in relationship and keep love flowing in family again.

About Facilitator- Jeffrey Wu
As a helping worker, Jeffrey has more 25 years experience in helping other people. He was a lecturers in University, the youth offenses social worker, 921 disasters the psychology reconstruction and so on. In 1990, he studied Life Zen with Chen Chienyu which inspired him a lots.

Jeffrey has tried to combine the wisdom of Zen in Eastern and psychology therapy in Western to develop the integrated solution with body, mind and soul.

Since 2001, Jeffrey has led more than 300 Family Constellation workshops in schools, communities and personal growth groups. In addition, he tried to apply family constellation to other areas to help more people, which including: the commits suicide’s family, family violence/abused children, Autism, Depression, Addiction, caring at the point of death, the single-parent families, the rare disease family and so on. Jeffrey has abundant practical experience, he has been worked with hundreds families in Taiwan. Jeffrey is N L P Master Practitioner, Family Constellation Practitioner and Master degree in Clinical Psychology.

每一個引導方法、流程以及工具，都具備一個圖像元素，它跨越了語言的隔閡並且讓引導成為一個真正的全球通用語言。

遠從加拿大ICA來台的比爾，將分享數種ICA參與式方法與工具，並展現出它們所代表的視覺意義。這些視覺圖像將建構基本的引導流程語言及工具，即使存在著語言的隔閡，引導者仍可以快速且容易地分享複雜的方法與流程。

這不是圖像引導。圖像引導是引導者應用在客戶的需求上；引導者的圖像引導是在存在於引導者之間，每位引導者都有他/她自己的圖像語言可分享。

論壇內容包括：

a. 比爾將介紹種引導的方法與流程，以及一些基本的視覺語言
b. 練習思考自己的視覺語言並且與其他夥伴分享
c. 比爾將協助大家去發掘自己未知的視覺及圖像模式

Invitation of Facilitation Forum in June

Topic : Visual Language of the Facilitator
Facilitator: Bill Staples

Every method, process and facilitation tool has a graphic component which crosses language boundaries and makes facilitation a truly global language.

Bill will present a number of ICA and of Technology of Participation methods and tools, showing their graphic equivalent. This establishes the basis of a facilitation process language, and means that facilitators quickly and easily share complex methods and processes quickly and easily, even across language barriers.

This is NOT Graphic Facilitation. While Graphic facilitation is applied from facilitator to client, the visual language of facilitators is between facilitators. It is likely that very facilitator has his or her own graphic language to share.

Contents:

a. Bill will share some methods and processes, and some basic visual language.
b. Facilitators will consider some of their own visual language, and present to each other.
c. Bill will assist in looking for underlying visual and graphic patterns.

Bodies have a lot to say. Our relationship with them is important, and sometimes mysterious. The body constantly sends messages that may not be in our conscious habit to receive. We can slow down and work to understand our body's language and messages. Body work and healing practices can be an integral part of self-growth, not to mention a good way to stay in good health, feel better fast when problems develop and help out the people around us. As facilitators, it’s can be used to develop all of our key competencies through heightened awareness. The BodyTalk System is a well-established system of health care utilizing state-of-the-art energy medicine in a safe and comprehensive manner. Its power is based on increasing the levels of internal communication within the body - stimulating the body's own ability to regain and maintain a healthy balance. Karla is an expressive and energetic healer. She lives in Calgary, Canada and works out of a Chiropractic Health Center. She's immersed herself in BodyTalk training and practice since leaving Taiwan October 2005, and has been active as a healer for over 10 years, starting with people just asking her to help them. Her healing study began with energy and sound healing. Karla's background in theatre came out in Taiwan as she taught English on the radio and television (children's puppet show, so you probably didn't actually see her). 在全球化的趨勢之下，不同國籍、文化、宗教、族群共同一起生活、工作，以及協力完成任務的情形越來越多。如何察覺文化差異, 擅用多元文化，使工作或生活順利豐富，似乎是當前成為國際公民的一個課題。JORIE近幾年有機會在不同的國家進行引導工作,她經常被問到”你觀察到什麼文化差異?”除了語言、風俗習慣外，自己如何察覺那些隱性的文化差異? 這樣的問題引發她選擇這個主題作為本次『引導者論壇』的焦點。

在這兩個小時的論壇活動中，我們會以引導的方式，分享自己在跨文化的引導,管理或生活經驗。用Hofstede's Five-Dimensional Model覺察超越語言,風俗外的文化差異，協助我們對文化差異的敏感度。我們將進一步討論作為國際公民,須具備的跨文化能力。

關於引導者

吳咨杏是開放智慧的引導師。她是一位國際認證專業引導師與評審。她的名字裡有三個口，描繪她在先後不同專業領域裡共同的使命—「引導溝通,催化改變」。自從獲得美國溝通障礙學的碩士學位後，她協助先天溝通障礙者, 改善溝通, 進而建立信心。在擔任2000年國際演講會Toastmasters International台灣區的總會長時，JORIE更致力於推廣大眾溝通藝術。近年來她致力於運用團隊引導的方法與精神,營造安全的環境讓團隊能開放的溝通,協助組織變革及個人成長。她的專長在有效溝通系列、中英文簡報服務、有效會議的引導、引導師培訓、團隊引導法、領導管理系列、真誠的團隊對話、個人精進系列等。客戶產業涵蓋企業界、政府機關、非營利機構、醫學界及教育界；引導經驗遍及台灣、大中華地區、香港、新加坡、馬來西亞、越南、肯亞,尼泊爾等。

Under the trend of global village, we have increasing opportunities to live/work with people from different nationality, cultural, religion and ethnic background. How to beware the cultural difference and make use of the diversity so that our life/work can be successful and enriching seems to be a critical issue that global citizen is facing. In the recent years, Jorie has opportunities to do facilitation works in different countries. She has often been asked:”What cultural difference have you noticed?” This question evokes her interests in exploring this topic more into depth.

In the two hours facilitator’s forum, we will learn from participants cross cultural experiences. Hofstede's Five-Dimensional Model will be introduced to help us look into cultural differences beyond the obvious. We will also discuss about “cross cultural competences”

About Facilitator- Jorie Wu
Jorie is a bilingual Group Facilitator .She is certified by the International Association of Facilitators ( IAF) as both a professional facilitator and an assessor, devoted to increasing the awareness and growth of facilitation in Asia. Jorie has facilitated programs in China, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Kenya , Nepal and Taiwan, using English and Chinese.

Jorie has a background in Communication Disorders and Public Speaking. In the past few years, her focus has been in bridging communication theories and the art of communication into effective communication in organization to create desired change. She views "Communicate to Change" as her mission in life to facilitate organizational changes and personal growth.

Jorie is the executive director of CP Yen Foundation and District Governor of Toastmasters International -Taiwan, 2000-01.

費樂理(Larry Philbrook)投入了畢生的精力在開發組織及社區真正的領導力工作上。我們很榮幸邀請到Larry擔任三月份的引導者論壇的引導者。Larry將帶領大家透過練習及閱讀由布賴恩‧史丹菲爾德所著的”領導的勇氣”(The courage to Lead)這本書，一起分享他個人的學習與經驗。”領導的勇氣”這本書，是根據ICA在超過三十個國家累積近五十年的深入研究及實際經驗所撰寫而成的。

由ICA加拿大及New Society出版社共同出版的”領導的勇氣”這本書, 提出一個重要的前提，那就是要改變社會，首先要先改變自己。在這兩個小時的論壇活動中，我們會分別以個人以及小組，針對有意識的開發自己成為領導者的能力進行對談。我們將可以進一步省思及發現領導力在生命中的意義。

論壇內容包括：

-領導力沈思委員會練習 - 智慧和創造力的來源
-個人練習- 我的領導風格
-領導力的對話
-領導力的步驟– 成為領導者及表現的像一個真正的領導者的要素

關於引導者

費樂理在不同的文化環境為團隊與領導人設計流程已經有超過二十年的時間。他在一九七二年加入文化事業學會，自從一九七七年起就在美國以外的地區超過二十個國家廣泛地為公司與社區從事專案性質的工作。在過去十三年裡他擔任文化事業學會台灣分會的董事，同時亦在亞洲各地工作。

在離開美國的前十年裡，他專注在與非洲與亞洲當地的社區倡導有效率的發展夥伴關係。自一九八五年起，費樂理先生開始引導私部門團體發展領導力以及持續性的組織改善。費樂理的核心技能是在流程的設計與引導，以回復尊重與信任，讓尊重與信任作為建立能夠學習與轉變的組織的基礎。他的客戶除了地區性的公司與政府機構外，還包括超過五十個的多國組織。目前的客戶多在大中華地區與日本。

Larry Philbrook has spent his life working with organizations and communities developing authentic leadership. It’s our greatest and pleasure honor to have Larry to be our guest facilitator for March forum activity. Larry will conduct a session combining his own learning and experience with an exercise and readings from “The Courage to Lead” by R. Brian Stanfield. This book is grounded in nearly fifty years of the Institute of Cultural Affairs’ in-depth research and practical experience in over thirty nations.

The Courage to Lead, co-published by ICA Canada and New Society Publishers, starts from the premise that, to transform society, we first need to transform ourselves. During this two hour session we will dialogue as individuals and as a group on our capacity to intentionally develop our selves as leaders. We can reflect and discover meaning in our lives.

About Facilitator- Larry Philbrook
Larry Philbrook has been designing processes for teams and leaders in varied cultural settings for over twenty years. Lawrence joined the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) in 1972 and has worked outside the US since 1977 doing extensive company and community-based projects in over 20 nations. For the past 15 years he has been the director of ICA Taiwan while working across Asia.
After leaving the US, his first ten years focused on initiating effective development partnerships with rural communities in Africa and Asia. Beginning in 1985 Mr. Philbrook began facilitating private sector groups developing leadership and ongoing organizational change.
His key skill is in design and facilitation of processes which recover a sense of respect and trust as a basis for establishing organizations that can learn and change. His clients have included more than 50 multinational organizations as well as local companies and government organizations. Current clients are primarily in Greater China and Japan.

Evie is a Master of Business Admin of Applied Economics, National Chung-Hsing University. She works in Healthy Growths Foundation. She completed ICA/FCP facilitator certified six courses. Evie served in PR company, and HR programs in governments. She experiences in PR, HR, activities planning, and training. She was a facilitator in National Youth Forum (NYF) in 2004. She also associated NYF facilitator training design in 2005. She was a Marketing course lecturer in Mackay Medicine, Nursing and Management College through facilitation skills.

依瑋是國立中興大學應用經濟研究所管理學碩士，任職於成長文教基金會。已完成 ICA 引導認證的六堂課程。依瑋過去曾任職於公關公司，也曾負責政府部門人力派遣專案，對於公共關係、活動規劃、教育訓練有豐富的經驗。她曾擔任2004年青輔會青年國事會議全國大會主持引導、並在2005年協助主持人培訓課程設計。並在馬偕護理專科學校以引導方式教授行銷課程深受好評。
