三月份論壇活動通知-領導人的省思

費樂理(Larry Philbrook)投入了畢生的精力在開發組織及社區真正的領導力工作上。我們很榮幸邀請到Larry擔任三月份的引導者論壇的引導者。Larry將帶領大家透過練習及閱讀由布賴恩‧史丹菲爾德所著的”領導的勇氣”(The courage to Lead)這本書,一起分享他個人的學習與經驗。”領導的勇氣”這本書,是根據ICA在超過三十個國家累積近五十年的深入研究及實際經驗所撰寫而成的。
由ICA加拿大及New Society出版社共同出版的”領導的勇氣”這本書, 提出一個重要的前提,那就是要改變社會,首先要先改變自己。在這兩個小時的論壇活動中,我們會分別以個人以及小組,針對有意識的開發自己成為領導者的能力進行對談。我們將可以進一步省思及發現領導力在生命中的意義。
論壇內容包括:
-領導力沈思委員會練習 - 智慧和創造力的來源
-個人練習- 我的領導風格
-領導力的對話
-領導力的步驟– 成為領導者及表現的像一個真正的領導者的要素
關於引導者
費樂理在不同的文化環境為團隊與領導人設計流程已經有超過二十年的時間。他在一九七二年加入文化事業學會,自從一九七七年起就在美國以外的地區超過二十個國家廣泛地為公司與社區從事專案性質的工作。在過去十三年裡他擔任文化事業學會台灣分會的董事,同時亦在亞洲各地工作。
在離開美國的前十年裡,他專注在與非洲與亞洲當地的社區倡導有效率的發展夥伴關係。自一九八五年起,費樂理先生開始引導私部門團體發展領導力以及持續性的組織改善。費樂理的核心技能是在流程的設計與引導,以回復尊重與信任,讓尊重與信任作為建立能夠學習與轉變的組織的基礎。他的客戶除了地區性的公司與政府機構外,還包括超過五十個的多國組織。目前的客戶多在大中華地區與日本。

Fee : We will be sharing the venue fee at NT200 per person.
Larry Philbrook has spent his life working with organizations and communities developing authentic leadership. It’s our greatest and pleasure honor to have Larry to be our guest facilitator for March forum activity. Larry will conduct a session combining his own learning and experience with an exercise and readings from “The Courage to Lead” by R. Brian Stanfield. This book is grounded in nearly fifty years of the Institute of Cultural Affairs’ in-depth research and practical experience in over thirty nations.
The Courage to Lead, co-published by ICA Canada and New Society Publishers, starts from the premise that, to transform society, we first need to transform ourselves. During this two hour session we will dialogue as individuals and as a group on our capacity to intentionally develop our selves as leaders. We can reflect and discover meaning in our lives.
Contents:
- Leadership Meditative Council Exercise - Sources of Wisdom and Creativity
- Personal Exercise – My Leadership style
-Dialogue on Leadership
- Steps in leadership – Elements in becoming or operating as an authentic leader
About Facilitator- Larry Philbrook
Larry Philbrook has been designing processes for teams and leaders in varied cultural settings for over twenty years. Lawrence joined the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) in 1972 and has worked outside the US since 1977 doing extensive company and community-based projects in over 20 nations. For the past 15 years he has been the director of ICA Taiwan while working across Asia.
After leaving the US, his first ten years focused on initiating effective development partnerships with rural communities in Africa and Asia. Beginning in 1985 Mr. Philbrook began facilitating private sector groups developing leadership and ongoing organizational change.
His key skill is in design and facilitation of processes which recover a sense of respect and trust as a basis for establishing organizations that can learn and change. His clients have included more than 50 multinational organizations as well as local companies and government organizations. Current clients are primarily in Greater China and Japan.
