什麼樣的歌令人掉眼淚？

對我來說，音樂令我落淚的次數，扳扳手指就數得出來。
我淚腺不算發達，也不喜歡沒事太過感傷。
但下面這首歌，卻害我傻傻地邊聽邊落淚。
我猜，這是因為「後悔」與「遺憾」總是令我感受特別深刻吧。
而「後悔」與「遺憾」就是它的主題。

這首歌的歌詞，是Robert（嗯，還能有哪個Robert？）因為好友Billy MacKenzie自殺事件所寫的。
（所以歌詞中的Billy指的是誰，就很明顯了）
不過Robert的歌詞常常可以用多種方式解讀，這首也不例外。
很多人也會將歌詞解釋成久別重逢的舊情人，未能抓住第二次機會的悲傷心情。

因為一時不經意而造成的遺憾－－尤其是這樣無法挽回的遺憾－－最令人心痛。
很多人、事、物一但錯過了，就再也沒有第二次機會了。
總是想著「改天吧」、「下次吧」、「以後再說」....
但是，有誰能保證會有以後呢？
