About the artwork: 'Sonic Constellations' is the sound installation of Tsai-Wei Chen’s PhD research. With 33-channel sounds and two large GIS maps, the work invites you to discover ten Taipei sojourners' listening experiences in London, which have been transformed into sonic geographies linking homeland and foreign land.

Imagine that if one business building in Taiwan can have such an installation, and speakers play back sounds of business people's offices, then the building would not be as dull as its concrete appearance! Of course, the played back sounds are better to be selected so the work can be more 'beautiful', such as the sounds of stars that MIT researchers do!
Perhaps matching the installations with lighting installations which many big business buildings have had can be interesting, too. For example, the night-turned-colourful building in the intersection between Jian-Kwo North Road and Ming-Chuen East Road in Taipei! Is anyone interested? Perhaps we should collaborate and realise it! ^_^
