Feeling Good

I've started teaching in my department from today. Although it last only one term, it is a start! The course is called Phonography. It has taken me two weeks for preparation. When finishing the first lecture today, students' actions seemed to be fine-- when they left the room, they came to me to say 'thank you'! I guess that means that they'll come back again to my lecture, right?!What an opportunity that makes me happy! I feel great! Hope you can share my joy, too!

Updated website

Since Yam and Webs-tv mergerd last Nov, I have not been able to log in to make any new post. Despite of making complains via e-mail, no staff has taken action to help me out. When I was about to give up, I tried to log in through Roodo today and surprisingly I succeeded! I am really happy about it. However, it's a shame that the blog address has been changed and old web-friends would not be able to find me. sigh~~

The Girl in the Picture

I have changed a brighter layout for this blog, hope you like it. Perhaps you are curious about the little girl in the photo? ^_^
On that day we were taking a friend's car to go to the beach. Because the little girl did not understand that I was recording sounds, she asked me why I wanted to have the microphone when I went out. In that moment I had no idea how I could make her understood, I thus told her that because I loved singing! The lovely girl seemed to appreciate my answer very much, she grabed the microphone from me and started singing her favourate soungs! (quite a few!) Of course, I recorded them all! ^_^ When she grows up, I will play these recordings to her!

Having noticed that under the message of [The Founder], of our Chinese site, people have responded with quite a few valuable experiences and knowledge which are worthy of revisiting and discussing. If you feel it is accessible, why don't we adapt this feeback space as the discussion board of the blog? Hope you can come often and have a chat about sounds!

Time flies. This blog has been up for 1 month. However, it seems to be a bit 'cold' here. Nevertheless, I will do my best to maintain and develop this blog. When I see some links that are useful, I will add them into this site. Hopefully the blog can be helpful for the people who have the similar interest. ^_^

Hi, my name is Tsai-Wei Chen. Currently, I am a PhD student in music department of Goldsmiths College, University of London. My research subjects surround Taiwanese sojourners' listening experiences in London.
