Tchaikovsky by Eifman Ballet

Dear Howard,
You are very right about the comments. I felt rather dissapointed when viewing the recent work by Russian Ballet Theatre. Somehow the aesthetic level cannot be sustainded through the perfection of their techniques. It might be the loss of a great spirit, rather than the surfical fault of dancers performance.
From the conbination of the music in your description, somehow I wonder whether this is a work for people who love and have deep understanding of Tchaikovsky and the dance; or it is just a assembling piece to cater for general appeal?
love, chialing sis
(Brighton is wet, cold, and gray. The sea has lost its colour. Best scene for Chekov I am afarid...)
