音樂是這世界上最美好的事

我想再也不會有陣容如此厲害令我暈眩的合輯了。由愛滋慈善組織Red Hot Organization邀請、並於4AD發行的《Dark Was The Night》，堪稱獨立搖滾界前所未見的組合。創作人部份就包含了：Feist、Cat Power、Bon Iver、Joses Gonzalez、Sufjan Stevens、Andrew Bird、David Byrne、Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes)、Antony (Antony & the Johnsons)；獨立樂團部份有：Arcade Fire、My Morning Jacket、Yo La Tengo、Beirut、Blonde Redhead、The National、The Decemberists、Iron & Wine、Spoon、Grizzly Bear、My Brightest Diamond；從樂團暫時脫隊以個人身份演出者有：Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie)、Kevin Drew (Broken Social Scene)、Stuart Murdoch (Belle & Sebastian)、Jon Tor Birgisson(Sigur Ros主腦，化名Riceboy Sleeps)、Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio)、Aaron Dessner & Bryce Dessner (The National，他們倆雙胞胎亦是此合輯的統籌) 等等。

聆聽《Dark Was The Night》真的就像走在黑夜裡，飛揚的弦樂不經意的侵襲著你，久久低迴。

聽前幾輪，尤其喜愛的曲子是The Natioanl〈So Far Around The Bend〉、My Morning Jacket〈El Caporal〉、Grizzly Bear〈Deep Blue Sea〉...其實難分軒輊，他們都切合地成為我床邊的搖籃曲。
