音樂是這世界上最美好的事

我妹要結婚了，對於這生平第一次跟自己非常有關的婚禮，我也被派遣了相當大的任務：婚禮音樂。我承認我對於挑選某種主題的音樂有癖好，但婚禮音樂可不是開玩笑的，既不能像《婚禮歌手》的怪ㄎㄚ老是唱Culture Club的〈Do You Really Want To Hurt Me〉，也不能毫無創意的把情歌合輯拿來放一放就罷。

我認真的在CD櫃上找尋婚禮歌曲，From A to Z，一張一張的check過，這才發現自己真的缺乏甜蜜（到甜膩）的歌曲，偶爾在Coldplay、Yo La Tengo能找出一些，再不然回到高中時代的Now、Max合輯搜尋到Shania Twain、Celine Dion等至尊情歌（毫無創意的作法）。然後開始思索現代人聽的情歌是哪些（搞得好像老人一樣），James Morrison、James Blunt? Anything Else?

我真的不適合婚禮歌曲，在放到Trembling Blue Stars沉浸於憂傷之時，更有了更深刻的體悟。


附註：
與前文介紹的Bright Eyes同出身自美國Nebraska重要Singer/Songwriter之一的Josh Rouse，有著讓我更喜愛的理由，除了極度流暢的樂曲與隨性寫意的唱白外，他的作品有著喚起記憶的魔力，初聽《1972》同名單曲〈1972〉，幾乎註定是一種鄉愁了；這張也是我最喜歡的Josh Rouse作品，在他尚未走入人生另一階段前（與妻子離異），有著戀愛甜美的〈Love Bibration〉、〈Under your Charm〉，求婚歌曲〈Slaveship〉，最棒的舒適民謠〈Rise〉...它緊抓著生命的悸動時分，無可比擬的五顆星推薦。

所以當婚禮歌曲計畫翻找到J的時候，Josh Rouse came to my mind。
