Everybody is happy

I slept for 12 hours last night at my parents' house.
My dad is happy, my mom is happy,
as happy as our lovely dog. =)

Wanna go to Japan

I couldn't go out this weekend (my weekend means Sun.+ Mon.)because my parents wanted me to go back to Taoyuan and I obey. Who says that's a sweet burden? I feel it's quite bitter now.

I just talked with Sandy. She recently got the maketing job for a belly dancing group. From now on she needs to mingle with a few Egyptian dancers. That's awesome! I really hope I can contribute some marketing ideas, but now my brain is empty.

It seems that I've spent too much time in the blog world lately. I think that's because I changed my career substantially and most of my friends in the real world have no ideas of what I am doing. And it's fun that I found a lot of fine art fans on the Internet, which gives me some comfort.

Whatever...
Aki went to Japan and nobody asks me out. Too bad :(
Really wish I could be in Japan.
I organized some photos that I took in Japan earlier this year.
Check them out:

7 oranges for tonight

Tonight is the 2nd time in a row that I can't fall to sleep, but this time I am trying somethings new to amuse myself. 7 oranges only cost me NT$15. Can you believe that? Wondering how those farmers ever make a living.
Don't they look good to eat? My mouth is watering now.  :D

Last Night's Party

Just learn about a website called "Last Night's Party".
This website features significant provocative photos which were shot in some major clubs in the U.S.  How many people visit this website per day? Not many. Just 20,000.
If you wanna be part of the demi-monde, never mind to take a look:

I once came very close to the partygoers in this subterranean nightlife. Sometimes you feel they are arty and sometimes you feel they are purely piss artists. Anyway, I just don't fit and am out of it. It's still a funny world, though. =)

Freshener

Today after our daily coffee break, my boss said:
"Since both you know coffee very well now, my next step is to instruct you in Chinese tea, and after that I will instruct you in wine."
This gallery turns into be a world of 'taste' far beyond 'Art'.
Odd... (*_*)

Sleeplessness

I am extremely tired but can't get to sleep. This hasn't happened for a long time. Now I feel my life is running in a cycle of replays. It's satiric that I can only rely on these books instead of talking to anybody at this odd time - 1:00am on Saturday morning, no one will answer if I call, right? And tomorrow I still need to work.
Can anybody give me a pill for sleep? Hands up, please.
No? Okay...I knew it.

So-called Life

I was told to direct two solo exhibtions that we are going to have in the first half of next year. I tell you what?  This is so...cool. (^.^)

With this good time to celebrate, Aki and I went to a restaurant called "Haw Jhi" for dinner. A big crowd was waiting around when we got there. It's a chic place with abundant decorations in a traditional Taiwanese flavor. That really made me miss the old times in Taiwan very very much. I love this place and what they use to advertise themselves - 'Taiwan. Go! Go! Go!'

In front of the big future

Is it a good sign when your bosses get highly aggressive and excited about the big future of your company? Will you be benefited by that? I doubt it. Now the only thing I can feel is pressure.

I've been bombarded with all the new strategies, new investment and the new scope chart of our business for the whole day. When I left the conference room, I felt deaf and numb.

On my desk, there is still a grand chart awaiting me to put in all the information about 7 major art fairs in Asia.
The documents for our website are on hold, the billing stuff and the storage report for October are expecting my attention.
Some new works for our next exhibition are going to be crammed into our space next Tues, before that some things need to be moved out, and other things need to be hung for a while for a photo shoot. To top that, I am going to have a 2 days business trip soon.

The thing is that I've been overloaded with too much work that I don't really want, I never expected this situation before. Today I prefer to be one of the cats who can play around on the roof of this art gallery rather than working inside it.  Shall I try?... Meow~  >'O'<

Newman and Abstract Art

I tried to do some summarizing of Chapter 3. Abstract art: Reading Barnett Newman's Eve, but now it's getting tougher. I've entered an area where I am just becoming familiar with.

For now I can only mark somethings out for myself to memorize:

A transient moment

I didn't know there would be a fireworks display tonight.
I was completely surprised! This city is marvellous, isn't it?

My theme song came to my mind again.
'I have a dream, a song to sing,
to help me cope with anything. If you see the wonder of a fairy tale, you can take the future even if you fail...'  God! I wanna stop this!

Some small wonder usually came when I was down.
That's why I used to believe in angels. Yes. I "used to".
What? How about now? um.....Don't ask me...
