Maysa Leak - Out of the Blue
在週末降臨的夜晚，無意間又聽到Friendly Pressure這首我一直相當鍾愛的歌曲，正好當作這禮拜的心情配樂。生活上的壓力難免，若能夠當作是甜蜜的負荷，面臨排山倒海而來的挑戰，也將甘之如飴。

初次聽到這首歌是在1998年某一期MUZIK MAG.所贈送的CD裡頭，選的是Jhelisa Anderson的Into the Sunshine Mix，動感的4/4拍舞曲頗適合週六狂歡的夜晚，後來找到收錄在Galactica Rush裡的原曲，偏向清淡的Acoustic，呈現了Jhelisa作為"The Cosmic Princess of Soul."的完整風貌，此曲也一直是我的愛歌之一，直到今天又重新聽了Maysa Leak的版本，才又重新排了序位。

雖說Jhelisa是原唱以及原作，不過，時隔八年（對，這首歌是1994年的單曲，但最近仍在Angel Beach這張由ORB發行的合輯中出現）後經過Maysa Leak的重新翻唱，雖然一開始的印象跟<Jazz Not Jazz>的站長一樣，認為Maysa的版本並沒有比原唱出色，不過，今天又再仔細聽了幾回，發覺她對歌詞的詮釋較為圓融與豁達，呈現一種成熟的質感；且原以為Ronny Jordan的吉他在此曲是沒什麼表現的，卻驚覺這樣的安分在此時更能烘托出整體的細緻韻味，而有加乘的作用。

可惜的是，相較於Jhelisa的專輯，Maysa Leak這張Out of the Blue在其他的曲目上則顯得較為單薄，且雖然都曾經與Incognito有段淵源，但從Jhelisa與Mondo Grosso合作的Give Me A Reason以及Slow It Down看來，Jhelisa無論於曲風或是聲音的延展性的確都略勝一籌。

雖然不難聽出此曲的歌詞，為了保險起見，還是花了一些功夫搜尋出來，搭配著聽也更能表現出兩個版本間對意境上的詮釋有何不同：
