Hammonds, The—Life Behind TV

Akiko Yano(矢野顯子)是坂本龍一前妻，八十年代曾經與Yellow Magic Orchestra一起巡迴演出與錄製專集。但是她的能力絕對不只如此，這是她與編曲家Jeff Bova以兩人組合名義在1997年由Sony發表的二十三分鐘EP專輯。在人聲表現上，Akiko招牌的、令人捏把冷汗的嗲聲嬌氣式唱法還是沒變。在清爽優雅的電子音響裡滲入些輕爵士的味道相當動聽，女兒坂本美雨有參與和聲。原發行日文與英文兩種版本，我選擇了封面是兩人在紐約自由島渡輪上背對著已經永遠消失的World Trade Center的英文版。
