	<title>企業級IM應用悄然起步</title>

			對大多數人來說，即時通信 (Instant Message，IM)軟件已經不算新鮮了。提到IM，我們馬上就會想到QQ、MSN。毫無疑問，QQ、MSN已經成為眾多電腦工作者的必備，然而，對企 　　業的管理者而言，QQ、MSN等個人即時通信軟件的普及也給他們帶來憂慮。一方面，不少管理者擔心員工利用它們做一些與工作無關的事情，而另一個更主要的擔心在於，QQ、MSN主要面向個人用戶，其安全性、可管理性天生不足。基於企業管理者的這些擔心，一個新的即時通信軟件類別─企業級即時通信軟件(Enterprise Instant Message EIM)應運而生,並逐漸引起CIO們的關注。　　EIM需求顯現　　『企業級即時通信軟件的出現最直接的誘因是個人即時通信軟件本身的不足，個人即時通信軟件越是普及，這些不足就暴露得越明顯。』北京點擊科技有限公司(以下稱點擊科技)副總裁張利在接受記者採訪時說。　　因協同軟件而知名的點擊科技很早就開始涉足即時通信軟件，早期重點放在個人即時通信軟件上，從2006年起看到了企業級通信軟件的潛在市場，開始進軍這個市場，並推出了企業級即時通信軟件產品競開通訊之星(GK-Express)。　　據張利介紹，個人即時通信軟件不足主要體現在安全性和可管理性上，而企業級即時通信產品據此做了針對性的改進。比如，EIM通常是專門為企業定制的，在部署時可以為每個員工規定一個即時通信號碼。這些號碼有的可以對外溝通，有的號碼不可以。如果要變更，管理員只要在管理伺服器上進行一個簡單的設置就可以了。而且，企業即時通信軟件通常對溝通的內容是可以進行記錄和審計的，以備需要時追溯，這一功能對於那些對保密和審計有特殊需求的企業而言非常關鍵。　　EIM的可管理性還體現在，企業部署EIM時可以按照公司的組織架構定制通信名單，這樣公司內部的員工可以很容易地根據公司組織架構在這個名單中找到需要聯繫的人，從而大大方便跨部門的溝通和協作。該名單還可以隨著人員變動(比如員工離職或者有新人加入)而自動更新，這些特性對於那些較大規模、跨部門溝通非常頻繁的公司非常有用。　　EIM除了上述特徵之外的另一個更重要的特徵是，可以與企業的其他應用進行融合。這種融合類似於Hotmail與MSN、淘寶旺旺和淘寶網之間的集成。實際上，將應用系統和即時通信整合起來然後通過EIM來建設統一門戶，既有助於引導更多的員工來使用，從而發揮出產品的最大價值，同時，也讓應用變得更方便了，還會降低被集成的其他業務系統的教育和培訓成本，因為EIM員工本來就會使用。　　『在企業中，基於即時通信軟件可以集成各種業務應用系統。』張利說，『點擊科技的GK Express已經做了這方面的嘗試，比如GK Express就已經實現了與多家合作伙伴的OA進行集成。』　　張利預計，未來即時通信軟件很可能會成為統一通信的一個整合平台。　　市場爭奪戰已經打響　　儘管相對於個人IM市場，企業級IM才起步，但目前包括IBM、微軟等軟件巨頭以及中國的騰訊、點擊科技等公司都十分看好這個市場，不斷對產品更新升級，以搶占這個新興的市場。去年下半年，騰訊率先對其企業級通信軟件RTX進行了升級，9月IBM包含了最新Lotus Sametime的企業協作平台Lotus Notes/Domino 8(ND8)問世。去年年底，點擊科技也將其新一代企業綜合通訊平台GK-Express 升級到3.2版。有消息稱，新版微軟LCS將在2008年一季度亮相。看得出，一場對企業級IM市場的爭奪戰已經悄悄打響。綜觀目前EIM市場中競爭的廠商大致可以分為以下三種類型:　　1.IBM和微軟等軟件巨頭。其優勢在於產品成熟，品牌強勢; 劣勢在於價格較高，對國內用戶的需求回應慢，產品在部署上比較複雜，往往和其他產品有緊密關聯，如微軟LCS和Exchange Server 2003的緊密捆綁。　　2.以點擊科技和騰訊RTX為代表的國產軟件企業。它們的產品結合國內客戶需求開發，產品比較成熟，有一定的品牌知名度，主要市場策略是和其他管理軟件廠商合作。　　3.眾多創業性的小公司。其產品成熟度不高，市場影響力不大，優勢是靈活性強。　　另外，以阿里旺旺為代表的商用IM，未來也有可能發展成企業IM。只是目前其功能主要圍繞在線交易構建，針對企業需求的可管理性還可以改善。　　不過，這種百花爭艷、群雄割據的競爭格局也給EIM帶來了一個隱患，那就是互聯互通。由於缺乏統一的標準，不同的企業如果安裝的EIM不同，往往無法相互通信，這一點與個人即時通信產品的狀況有些類似。目前，EIM供應商也注意到這類問題，比如，通過在點擊科技的產品中加入插u韝w可以與QQ、MSN互發消息。不過，這個問題的最終解決還得有標準才行。　　鏈結　　哪些企業應該考慮部署EIM　　現在，企業級即時通信軟件還算是新生事物，對大多數企業來說還處於認識和了解階段，但是，已經有一些企業率先嘗試EIM。那麼，哪些企業應該部署EIM呢？　　據北京點擊科技有限公司副總裁張利介紹，EIM總體上來說v瘛~性並不明顯，如果企業具有以下特徵可以考慮部署EIM:　　1.分支機構多，企業員工分散，或者說跨部門、跨地域、異地辦公、移動辦公特徵明顯，溝通成本較高。　　2.資訊化建設已達到一定水平、構建了一些業務系統的大型企業和政府單位，適合用EIM來構建統一門戶或者說統一消息管理平台。　　3.銀行、金融、保險等各類對溝通和交流要求較多的公司，或者有管理大量流動性較強、工作時間和場所等不太固定的業務員的需求。　　4.文件分發頻繁的媒體、廣告公司等。　　據了解，在一些對安全性和管理要求較高的政府部門和私營、民營企業已經開始考慮和選購EIM了。張利建議在選擇一款EIM應該特別注意以下問題:　　1.企業即時通信產品首先要符合企業應用的特點，如能滿z洛禶~對安全性、可管理、可控制性等的要求。　　2.作為一個成熟與完善的企業即時通信產品，要達到主流或者說v釆籅漣Y時通信產品的品質，包括大規模使用時的穩定性，支援文本、語音、視頻等各種通信的能力，具有IM平台的特性。　　3.與業務系統的良好融合和整合能力，即承擔企業統一消息平台的能力(這需要和管理軟件廠商建立起一個廣泛的合作聯盟)。同時，要有融合各種通信方式的能力，作為一個融合通信平台，這也包括與其他IM的互通能力。　　4.要有良好的平台化思想和設計，體現出良好的開放性和可擴展性特徵，具有豐富和標準化的介面，並要對外開放API介面。　　另外，張利特別提醒說，企業在部署EIM前一定要讓員做好思想準備。由於EIM帶有管理和控制的特徵，因此可能會讓員工覺得有束縛感而抵觸。　　『與其他的困難相比，員工的使用習慣才是最大的障礙。一旦員工養成了使用EIM的習慣，並逐漸把EIM當成了第一桌面，EIM的方便和快捷就會釋放出來。不過，說z鴝部AEIM到底能起多大的作用很大程度上取決于企業的管理文化如何、執行力到底有多強。』張利總結說。http://news.sina.com.tw/tech/sinacn/cn/2008-03-03/16556027927.shtmlhttp://news.sina.com.tw/tech/sinacn/cn/2008-03-03/16556027928.shtml

			對大多數人來說，即時通信 (Instant Message，IM)軟件已經不算新鮮了。提到IM，我們馬上就會想到QQ、MSN。毫無疑問，QQ、MSN已經成為眾多電腦工作者的必備，然而，對企 <p>　　業的管理者而言，QQ、MSN等個人即時通信軟件的普及也給他們帶來憂慮。一方面，不少管理者擔心員工利用它們做一些與工作無關的事情，而另一個更主要的擔心在於，QQ、MSN主要面向個人用戶，其安全性、可管理性天生不足。基於企業管理者的這些擔心，一個新的即時通信軟件類別─企業級即時通信軟件(Enterprise Instant Message EIM)應運而生,並逐漸引起CIO們的關注。</p><p>　　<strong>EIM需求顯現</strong></p><p>　　『企業級即時通信軟件的出現最直接的誘因是個人即時通信軟件本身的不足，個人即時通信軟件越是普及，這些不足就暴露得越明顯。』北京點擊科技有限公司(以下稱點擊科技)副總裁張利在接受記者採訪時說。</p><p>　　因協同軟件而知名的點擊科技很早就開始涉足即時通信軟件，早期重點放在個人即時通信軟件上，從2006年起看到了企業級通信軟件的潛在市場，開始進軍這個市場，並推出了企業級即時通信軟件產品競開通訊之星(GK-Express)。</p><p>　　據張利介紹，個人即時通信軟件不足主要體現在安全性和可管理性上，而企業級即時通信產品據此做了針對性的改進。比如，EIM通常是專門為企業定制的，在部署時可以為每個員工規定一個即時通信號碼。這些號碼有的可以對外溝通，有的號碼不可以。如果要變更，管理員只要在管理伺服器上進行一個簡單的設置就可以了。而且，企業即時通信軟件通常對溝通的內容是可以進行記錄和審計的，以備需要時追溯，這一功能對於那些對保密和審計有特殊需求的企業而言非常關鍵。</p><p>　　EIM的可管理性還體現在，企業部署EIM時可以按照公司的組織架構定制通信名單，這樣公司內部的員工可以很容易地根據公司組織架構在這個名單中找到需要聯繫的人，從而大大方便跨部門的溝通和協作。該名單還可以隨著人員變動(比如員工離職或者有新人加入)而自動更新，這些特性對於那些較大規模、跨部門溝通非常頻繁的公司非常有用。</p><p>　　EIM除了上述特徵之外的另一個更重要的特徵是，可以與企業的其他應用進行融合。這種融合類似於Hotmail與MSN、淘寶旺旺和淘寶網之間的集成。實際上，將應用系統和即時通信整合起來然後通過EIM來建設統一門戶，既有助於引導更多的員工來使用，從而發揮出產品的最大價值，同時，也讓應用變得更方便了，還會降低被集成的其他業務系統的教育和培訓成本，因為EIM員工本來就會使用。</p><p>　　『在企業中，基於即時通信軟件可以集成各種業務應用系統。』張利說，『點擊科技的GK Express已經做了這方面的嘗試，比如GK Express就已經實現了與多家合作伙伴的OA進行集成。』</p><p>　　張利預計，未來即時通信軟件很可能會成為統一通信的一個整合平台。</p><p>　　<strong>市場爭奪戰已經打響</strong></p><p>　　儘管相對於個人IM市場，企業級IM才起步，但目前包括IBM、微軟等軟件巨頭以及中國的騰訊、點擊科技等公司都十分看好這個市場，不斷對產品更新升級，以搶占這個新興的市場。去年下半年，騰訊率先對其企業級通信軟件RTX進行了升級，9月IBM包含了最新Lotus Sametime的企業協作平台Lotus Notes/Domino 8(ND8)問世。去年年底，點擊科技也將其新一代企業綜合通訊平台GK-Express 升級到3.2版。有消息稱，新版微軟LCS將在2008年一季度亮相。看得出，一場對企業級IM市場的爭奪戰已經悄悄打響。<br /><br /><strong>綜觀目前EIM市場中競爭的廠商大致可以分為以下三種類型:</strong></p><p>　　1.IBM和微軟等軟件巨頭。其優勢在於產品成熟，品牌強勢; 劣勢在於價格較高，對國內用戶的需求回應慢，產品在部署上比較複雜，往往和其他產品有緊密關聯，如微軟LCS和Exchange Server 2003的緊密捆綁。</p><p>　　2.以點擊科技和騰訊RTX為代表的國產軟件企業。它們的產品結合國內客戶需求開發，產品比較成熟，有一定的品牌知名度，主要市場策略是和其他管理軟件廠商合作。</p><p>　　3.眾多創業性的小公司。其產品成熟度不高，市場影響力不大，優勢是靈活性強。</p><p>　　另外，以阿里旺旺為代表的商用IM，未來也有可能發展成企業IM。只是目前其功能主要圍繞在線交易構建，針對企業需求的可管理性還可以改善。</p><p>　　不過，這種百花爭艷、群雄割據的競爭格局也給EIM帶來了一個隱患，那就是互聯互通。由於缺乏統一的標準，不同的企業如果安裝的EIM不同，往往無法相互通信，這一點與個人即時通信產品的狀況有些類似。目前，EIM供應商也注意到這類問題，比如，通過在點擊科技的產品中加入插u韝w可以與QQ、MSN互發消息。不過，這個問題的最終解決還得有標準才行。</p><p><strong>　　鏈結</strong></p><p><strong>　　哪些企業應該考慮部署EIM</strong></p><p>　　現在，企業級即時通信軟件還算是新生事物，對大多數企業來說還處於認識和了解階段，但是，已經有一些企業率先嘗試EIM。那麼，哪些企業應該部署EIM呢？</p><p>　　據北京點擊科技有限公司副總裁張利介紹，EIM總體上來說v瘛~性並不明顯，如果企業具有以下特徵可以考慮部署EIM:</p><p>　　1.分支機構多，企業員工分散，或者說跨部門、跨地域、異地辦公、移動辦公特徵明顯，溝通成本較高。</p><p>　　2.資訊化建設已達到一定水平、構建了一些業務系統的大型企業和政府單位，適合用EIM來構建統一門戶或者說統一消息管理平台。</p><p>　　3.銀行、金融、保險等各類對溝通和交流要求較多的公司，或者有管理大量流動性較強、工作時間和場所等不太固定的業務員的需求。</p><p>　　4.文件分發頻繁的媒體、廣告公司等。</p><p>　　據了解，在一些對安全性和管理要求較高的政府部門和私營、民營企業已經開始考慮和選購EIM了。張利建議在選擇一款EIM應該特別注意以下問題:</p><p>　　1.企業即時通信產品首先要符合企業應用的特點，如能滿z洛禶~對安全性、可管理、可控制性等的要求。</p><p>　　2.作為一個成熟與完善的企業即時通信產品，要達到主流或者說v釆籅漣Y時通信產品的品質，包括大規模使用時的穩定性，支援文本、語音、視頻等各種通信的能力，具有IM平台的特性。</p><p>　　3.與業務系統的良好融合和整合能力，即承擔企業統一消息平台的能力(這需要和管理軟件廠商建立起一個廣泛的合作聯盟)。同時，要有融合各種通信方式的能力，作為一個融合通信平台，這也包括與其他IM的互通能力。</p><p>　　4.要有良好的平台化思想和設計，體現出良好的開放性和可擴展性特徵，具有豐富和標準化的介面，並要對外開放API介面。</p><p>　　另外，張利特別提醒說，企業在部署EIM前一定要讓員做好思想準備。由於EIM帶有管理和控制的特徵，因此可能會讓員工覺得有束縛感而抵觸。</p><p>　　『與其他的困難相比，員工的使用習慣才是最大的障礙。一旦員工養成了使用EIM的習慣，並逐漸把EIM當成了第一桌面，EIM的方便和快捷就會釋放出來。不過，說z鴝部AEIM到底能起多大的作用很大程度上取決于企業的管理文化如何、執行力到底有多強。』張利總結說。<br /><br /><a href="http://news.sina.com.tw/tech/sinacn/cn/2008-03-03/16556027927.shtml">http://news.sina.com.tw/tech/sinacn/cn/2008-03-03/16556027927.shtml</a><br /><a href="http://news.sina.com.tw/tech/sinacn/cn/2008-03-03/16556027928.shtml">http://news.sina.com.tw/tech/sinacn/cn/2008-03-03/16556027928.shtml</a></p>

	<title>Earth Live ： 讓你仔細的觀察地球</title>

			Earth Live 是 Discovery 新推出的一項服務，他的介面有些像 Google Earth，如下圖：你可以追蹤過去24小時的雲量，降雨量，海水溫度，城市人造燈光等等八樣東西，你也可以去追蹤某個特定的事件下，當時的氣候狀態，像是聖嬰現象時的海水溫，或是橫掃美國南部的凱崔娜颶風時的海水溫等等歷史紀錄。他也提供讓使用者鑲嵌進自己的網頁和 Blog 的功能，只要按右上角的 Share this story 就可以得到鑲嵌用的 HTML 語法了。另外這個程式執行起來因為是全 3D 的模式，還蠻吃系統資源的，顯卡不夠好的人，用起來可能會卡卡的。另外他所提供的觀察項目和歷史紀錄也不是很多，希望將來能夠 Discovery 能夠再增加更多的資訊。但是總體而言，這仍然是一個新其有趣的程式，可以讓我們來探索地球環境的變化。以上資料來源&nbsp; http://mmdays.com/2008/02/15/earthlive/Discovery's Earth Live short on explosions, long on depressing environmental historyBy Josh Lowensohn &ndash; February 12, 2008, 4:02 PM PST Besides having some pretty cool TV programming (Smash Lab not included), The Discovery Channel has had some interesting forays into small, standalone Web sites. Just this past weekend I checked out the MythBusters slow motion video clip viewer, and today brings Discovery: Earth Live, a 3D globe that, like Google Earth, can display various layers of information.There are eight standard layers to choose from that range from cloud cover to rainfall averages. To complement the layers is a listing of featured stories that reference specific time periods and show up as tiny pins on the map. Among the more interesting is one of Hurricane Katrina that lets you track precipitation and the temperature of the sea as the storm developed. Besides messing about with the layers, users can create their own maps to link to, or embed on blogs. Unfortunately these end up as a pretty, but overly simplified spinning globe widget. There's no way to link to other news stories or control where the story is supposed to show up on the map, you're simply able to show off the various layers (one at a time) to others. I'm interested to see if Discovery ends up opening it up to allow users to create richer, more contextual layers that make use of the push pins a little more.
