話說 Mike Oldfield 因為一直很不滿意自己的歌喉 ( 對音樂要求特別高 ), 所以絕大部分歌曲其實他都是自己害羞不敢唱, 找別人幫他唱, 之前那一首 "Five Miles Out" 就是少數幾首他有唱的歌 ( 躲在電子變聲器後面才敢唱... ). 所以買他的唱片聽到的都是別人在唱歌 ( 哈哈 ). 而中期的幾張唱片女聲部分 Maggie Reilly 唱了很多首, 除了以前貼過的 "Foreign Affaire", 最膾炙人口的應該就屬這首 "Moonlight Shadow".

這首歌是在敘述 The Beatles 的 John Lennon 被瘋狂歌迷開槍射殺而死的情景, 包括星期幾在幾點死掉,被開了幾槍通通交代了. 歌裡的 She 是指 Lennon 的妻子 小野洋子(Yoko Ono), He 則當然是 Lennon 本人.
