Taipei Bus Station 台北轉運站啟用

台北轉運站Taipei Bus Station 於8/19日啟用了，位於台北車站北側，市民大道與承德路交叉口。目前整個建築物，只有轉運站的部分開放，入口處位於市民大道一側。

Social media revolution 社群資訊演進

Social media revolution，像是Facebook,Twitter,Plurk 等即時資訊管道，已經在這一兩年內有了大幅度的變化。網路上，隨時有天量的使用者在世界各個角落，搭配著行動上網，即時訊息的發佈與更新。媒體記者的速度已經跟不上全民。我們也不用再上新聞網站，因為重要的新聞會滾滾而來。

資訊媒體改變了，生活型態改變了，網路、生活、媒體間，已經失去了界線。

柏林中央車站

Berlin Hauptbahnhof 柏林中央車站 by you.

高聳的圓形屋頂，是許多歐洲大型火車站的重要特徵。
這是進入柏林的門戶，柏林中央車站。
柏林中央車站是於2006年6月，趕在世足賽之前啟用的，這個車站不只是德國境內最大的DB車站，也是整個歐洲最大的車站。位置位於德國國會旁，往西可連接到前西柏林的終點站，動物園站。往東則連接到東柏林的東火車站，也是現在DB,S-Bahn,U-Bahn的交會站。

圖中為進站的德國高鐵，ICE-1

柏林車站同時也是大型綠色建築，車站上方的圓形拱頂，佈滿了太陽能光電板，可自行供給再生電源，車站旁邊有大型人工池，可降低夏天空調的能源消耗。從外觀看柏林車站，是個巨大的玻璃帷幕建築，因此也有「現代水晶宮」的稱號。

Philippe Starck 對設計的深入思考

很高興，Philippe Starck這場演講有了中文翻譯，我們可以更容易的了解，不同文化背景下，對於設計概念的差異。

我的簡單心得是，我做設計常常陷入在滿足自己的層級裡。而一些成功的設計師，則是從更高的供需層級中，去尋找問題的答案。Starck甚至認為，如果找不到讓這物品更好的理由，那就不應該去改變，為設計而設計是最無用的設計師了。

ICSID - World Industrial Design Day

每年的6月29日是世界工業設計日耶!!

是ICSID於2007年6月29日，慶祝五十週年紀念的慶典時宣布的。其目的在於促進專業設計師對於知識的保存與交流，並期望社會大眾能更了解設計以及與設計相關的範疇領域。

這天會有一系列相關的設計活動舉辦，設計師以及熱心的設計推動者，藉此強化並廣為宣傳設計意念，面對經濟、社會、文化與環境等全球化問題，期盼改善全體人類的生活品質。

World Industrial Design Day is an international day of observance in recognition of the profession of industrial design. First declared on 29 June 2007 on the occasion of Icsid’s 50th anniversary, World Industrial Design Day provides designers with a collective outlet to acknowledge the merits of the profession of industrial design and foster a public understanding of design and all that it encompasses.

圖面資料收集利器－Google similar image

Google Labs中的新服務 Similar image

Step 1. 就如同原本的圖片搜尋一樣，敲入關鍵字搜尋，畫面是是輸入London Eye出來的結果。與原本圖片搜尋服務的差異是，圖片的下方會出現Similar images的連結。

Step 2. 在想要尋找的照片，按下similar images連結，這時google大神，就會更進階的將與此張類似的照片搜尋出來。這對於有時候需要圖片資料收集的使用者，真的有莫大的幫助。
