這就是Arts The Beatdoctor這個化名的由來，他用他其優雅細膩充滿藝術風味的旋律，為這個城市中所有需要精神治療的你我，賦予極度深沉的治癒療程，沒有苦澀，沒有副作用，而我則是因為'' The Anthem ''一曲開場那柔美的樂音，中途轉化成疾走感的Jazz Breakbeat的雙重聽覺享受，而開始喜歡Arts The Beatdoctor的，之前橋本撤監修的合輯'' Mellow Beats: Rhymes & Vibes ''當中，也收錄了Arts The Beatdoctor的'' Crazy Times ''。

來自荷蘭的Arts The Beatdoctor，17歲開始創作音樂，07年完成並在Unexpected Records發表他這首張完整專輯’’ Transitions ‘’之時，年僅23歲，他以唱盤、取樣機，以及搭配樂器演奏，並以爵士作為主要出發點，發表一首首期風格宛如DJ Shadow、DJ Kursh、RJD2的拼貼風格，帶有實驗性質的Hip Hop、Downbeat與Nu Jazz等作品，'' Transitions ''專輯當中邀請Pete Philly & Perquisite、Skiggy Rapz、老將The Proov….等好手參與，專輯內頁封面皆由攝影師Jordi Huisman操刀，其作品獨特的迷濛感與音樂更能相輔相陳，對於喜歡Jazzy Hip Hop或是Dutch Hip Hop的朋友可稱是首要之選。
