延續自2002年開始，每年一度的國際韓德爾錄音獎在前些日子出爐了。今年不叫國際韓德爾錄音獎而改稱Stanley Sadie韓德爾錄音獎的原因是為著紀念評審團中不幸於今年三月份病逝的成員Stanley Sadie(左圖)，表彰他對韓德爾錄音的評論與推廣的長期熱情投入。

今年得到大獎的是被各種評論媒體及本網站褒揚許久的Sandrine Piau演唱韓德爾莊歌劇詠嘆調(Naive出版)。這張聲樂專輯在選曲上就下了功夫，演唱與演奏也都很令人滿意，整張錄音的娛樂性極佳，即使是不熟悉韓德爾作品或是巴洛克歌劇的聽者，相信只要是聲樂愛好者都應能在聆聽過程中得到很大的樂趣。
