The China studies are important because China is a big country near Taiwan and the most threatening country in Asia. In view of Taiwan, the purposes of the China studies should focus on how these researches contribute the decision-making procedures among different sections.

For my future career, I think there are several topics which I can be involved in:

a. technology or science developement policy.
b. intellectual property protection policy.
c. China's interactions with the United States.
d. high-tech industrial analysis.
e. China's strategies of merging Taiwan.
