The Nolans ─ 諾蘭絲合唱團，來自愛爾蘭的姊妹花所組成的團體。

其實The Nolans最早算是家庭樂隊，成員皆出生於愛爾蘭共和國的首都 ─ 都伯林，唯獨最小的Coleen，是於1962年全家定居在英國後，才出生在英國的布萊克浦。

她們首次公開演出，是與他們的父母以及二個兄弟一起表演。但到了70年代中期，媽媽Maureen和爸爸Tommy漸漸退隱幕後，而家族裡的男孩子們也被禁聲，才逐漸形成了一支純女性的姐妹樂隊。之後大姐Anne因為結婚而離開了樂隊，於是由最年輕的妹妹Coleen加入代替。

但是，這又和〈冬天裡的一把火〉有什麼關係呢

〈冬天裡的一把火〉，這首高凌風的成名曲，相信大家都耳熟能詳，甚至可以說是倒背如流。而他的伴舞阿珠和阿花，相信大家都認識吧。

民國76年（1987年）的時候，費翔以「首位」到大陸發展的台灣歌手身份，在北京中央電視台所舉辦的春節聯歡晚會上，演唱了這首歌，結果讓他一夕成名。

以上兩位不管是誰，其實都不能算是真正的原唱。因為〈冬天裡的一把火〉這首歌，是改編自The Nolans在1980年Making Waves專輯中的Sexy Music一曲。當然，就中文而言，高凌風還是原唱啦。

我之所以會注意The Nolans這個團體，其實是拜日劇『愛在聖誕節』所賜。因為在這部片裡，它用了許多The Nolans的歌曲當背景音樂，理所當然的，在原聲帶裡就收錄了這些歌曲。例如 I'm In The Mood For Dancing、Gotta Pull Myself Together等歌曲，都還滿好聽的，是張值得收藏的CD。其實會用她們的歌曲不是沒有道理的，因為像Sex Music這首歌，是The Nolans到日本演出時所唱紅的。在日本，有很多介紹他們的網站。最近日本SONY也發行她們歷年歌曲的合輯。
