新聞裡反覆播送：47歲的家庭主婦 Susan Boyle 說她想如歌舞劇名角伊蓮佩姬（Elaine Page）一樣有名，她辦到了，甚至在這個 web 2.0 的年代更為有名。她在英國版星光大道（Britain's Got Talent）試唱會上，訪問時台下觀眾竊竊私語，等她一開金嗓就贏得觀眾起立鼓掌。

而她選的這首歌：《悲慘世界》裡的 I Dream A Dream，前有為迪士尼配唱過《花木蘭》、《阿拉丁》的 Lea Salonga和音樂劇女伶派蒂露彭 （Patti LuPone）唱過，戲裡的芳婷唱完後甘於人生。Susan 卻正要邁上她的星光大道。
