We thank God for leading the CLS in the past 45 years. CLS is a seminary that has experienced the marvel of God's grace and continues to press forward with vision for the future. The growth in the past four decades is an evident proof of God's wondrous work. We are unflinchingly committed to the vision and mission that we received from God.

Outreach gospel over foreign friends on Christmas season

Professor Scharrer , CLS Administrative Vice President Mr. Joseph Lu, Ms. KUO Su-feng, and students of mission fellowship went to Nantou and Hsinchu Detention Center for about 500 foreign people whose working visa expired and they over stayed their working visa time period. They held several special Christmas gospel activities and some were held with Catholic churches. Most impressive of all, those foreign friends used their mother tongues to sing Christmas carol together! The preachers tell them the meaning of the birth of Jesus Christ in Thai, in Vietnam, in Indonesian, in English and in Mandarin. After the program, each participant got fresh fruit, snacks, and daily necessity.Good news, joy to the world! God's salvation in Thai, Vietnam, Indonesian, English and Mandarin CLS seminarians acted interesting and impressive gospel skit.Professor Scharrer and some evangelists also went to Taipei Jail annually to celebrate Christmas and share the good news of new born King, Jesus Christ with those prisoners. We pray the prison ministry and the ministry over those foreign friends in Taiwan will save more lives in God's Kingdom. CLS students and coworkers were busying packing gifts and foods for the prinsoners.

CLS 39th Commencement

We joyfully celebrated our 39th Commencement in which 43 graduates received respective degrees (M. Th., M. Div., M.A. in Care and Counseling, B. Th.) and Certificate for Grassroots Ministry. To our gladness, we granted our first M. Th. degree diploma to Mr. Chen, Kuan-shian. We pray that each of them will be a dynamic witness of the Gospel as well as a living gift to the people they are called to serve.
