Mr. Ju Song-en finished our M. Th. Program in Luther Studies in 2009. He continues his doctoral study at LTS, Hong Kong, and has returned to Taiwan on December 31, 2011. Now he is a Th. D. Candidate in OT. Beginning this February, he serves as the vice dean of student affairs. Also pray for his teaching, thesis writing, and the new role in student affairs.

Dr. Rev. Jukka Kaariainen arrived at China Lutheran Seminary last November. He is sent by the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission to teach systematic theology after a year or so of language study. Following his MDiv studies at Concordia Seminary St. Louis, Rev. Kaariainen served as pastor for several LCMS congregations in New York and New Jersey for 11 years. He received his PhD diploma from Fordham University after completing his dissertation on "Missio Shaped by Promissio: Lutheran Missiology Confronts the Challenge of Religious Pluralism." We are very thankful to the Lord for the arrival of Dr. Kaariainen and his family! Rejoice with us and pray for their fruitful mandarin study, and the progressing adaptation of life and ministry in Taiwan.
