西元1852年9月2日，法國作家Paul Bourget出生於法國Amiens。

Bourget的詩作《Beau Soir》（美麗的夜）曾被德布西改編為藝術歌曲，其歌詞翻成英文如下：

When the rivers are rosy in the setting sun,
And a mild tremor runs over the wheat fields,
An exhortation to be happy seems to emanate from things
