LEICA M2，生產年份1957-1968年，被譽為徠卡史上實用度最佳的M型相機。全機械式，完全不必依賴電池，當然也就沒有測光功能。放大倍率0.72x，內建框線35/50/90，極簡作風。依出廠年份共分三個版本。比較推薦的是第二版，序號在950000以後。

50年前的相機到現在還能使用，簡直不可思議。以今日標準來看，成色依然優異。保守估計這台相機可以用上150年。與倍受注目的銘機M3相比，M2顯然沒有被炒高價格。這台相機有很多名人背書，包括RFF連動測距相機論壇的Tom A.大叔，帶著他的M2從戰地記者退役，LHSA美國徠卡歷史學會的前幾任會長Roy Moss，在期刊上發表專文等。

我心中的三鏡組為LEICA M2、SUPER-ANGULON 3.4/21mm、SUMMICRON-M 2/35mm、ELMARIT 2.8/90mm，如此足矣。

The new CHANEL N°5 film by Jean-Pierre Jeunet with Audrey Tautou and Travis Davenport.

香奈兒5號香水的最新廣告，由Jean-Pierre Jeunet執導，女主角Audrey Tautou在片中真是浪漫又漂亮，其中吸引我目光的是她拿LEICA相機，看外型似乎是驚人的Noctilux 50/0.95鏡頭，這一組加起來大概50萬元吧...。

The Bessa III is a compact medium-format camera made by Cosina and Fujifilm. Like Mamiya 7, it's compact and easy. If you're familar with Leica M, your might see the same design on Bessa III. It's also the rangefinder system but cannot change lens that fixed at 80mm.

I saw this camera modal in Germany last year. Now it will be delivered next month. Here is some specs quoted from Voigtlander website.

The retail price is 1999 EUR (87000 NTD). In my opinion, It's too expensive in cosina. Even it still has great courage to produce analogue cameras, how do people see it? Regardless of 135 and 120, I think people could pay the same money to buy 1 ZM camera and 2 ZM lenses also made by cosina.

Voigtlander Bessa III

Life as a movie. I bought lots of motion picture films recently because of loving special image quality of movie. The modal name is FUJIFILM REALA 500D. It means ISO 500, Daylight Film (日光型底片). The seller is a nice man. We met face to face near Bo-Ai Road in Taipei two weeks ago. It's a casual coincidence.The week before that day, I sold him a CONTAX lens that is Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50. And a week later, it changed that he sold me motion picture films.

I've shot 8 rolls this month. "Are you crazy? Insert motion picture film into camera? I really don't know what you shoot for." Y asked me. "Just want to know what this scene represents in the still picture." I said. （「你瘋了嗎，把電影底片裝在相機裡？我真不知你在拍什麼。」「只是想知道這場景在照片裡看起來是什麼樣子而已。」）

如果將樂團與攝影結合，那會發生什麼事？前年在台北Blue Note聽啟彬老師的表演時拍過幾張照片，後來莫名奇妙被拉進Concert Photography社群裡，常和幾個有趣的傢伙聊天。最近認識一位巴西籍的Liny，她是專拍重金屬樂團Live的活動攝影人，她拍過Helloween, Gamma Ray, Symphony X, Judas Priest, Andre Matos等，一開始以為她至少用白砲等級的器材，後來她說很多照片都是用Canon S3 IS拍的，那台是啥米？600萬畫素的類單眼小相機而已，還不能換鏡頭...。當然重要場點還是用Canon EOS 40D + 白砲，不過上面那組確實是S3 IS拍的。

大學同學晚上跟我說，你一方面瘋狂介紹Leica、Hasselblad、Zeiss，另一方面又說相機不重要，到底是怎樣？說來奇怪，我遇到不少歐美攝影人都用很簡陋的器材，去年到德國跟法新社、歐新社的記者一起搭車，他們都用小相機不然就是入門級的DSLR（比例大概是5：1），害我都不敢拿出大砲L鏡外掛離機閃燈...，不過倒是有一兩個堅持用Zeiss ZF手動鏡跟Leica M8就是，畢竟那是少數的了。

回顧一下兩年前拍的照片，感覺以前器材越簡陋，能發揮的可能性越大。我想最近除了磚牆跟色圖表外，大概拍不出任何東西了，這就是轉換到相機廠商工作最大的悲哀吧...


兩年前亂拍的，Canon EOS 30D + Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar 80-200/4

February 2nd, 2009-- I sold out all gears including Contax G1 and all of C/Y Carl Zeiss lenses recently. Just keeping Leica M, Hasselblad, and some LOMO toys. I love pure mechanical cameras. Think deeply before shooting, More simple, more elegant.

Hasselblad 500 series camera has outstanding image quality. Lenses are provided by Carl Zeiss AG. Even image, the feeling of manipulation is very nice for me. When Hasselblad 503CX came to my life, I felt into love immediately. And then it redefines my photography concept.

The original owner is a retired professional commercial photographer, especially in Protrait. About 55 years old, I guess. On average he earned 70-100K one case before. He priced his useless gears with very impossible price. One camera plus two lenses. How much do you guess? everyone! below 25K. Stunning me! He is also a very kindly elder. Taught me how to use Hasselblad and let me know more profesional photography concepts.




The viewfinder of Hasselblad seems like digital LCD monitor. Very unbelievable. But it is reality. By reflecting external object at twice . We get the mirrored image. It's funny! Like my Rolleiflex, this Hasselblad will become my next beloved. I think.


也許有朋友早已知道，我不當記者後跑去L牌打滾，每天都得用破爛的英文跟老德或老美通e-mail。最近才知道，原來外語能力進步的最大助力，竟是常跟對方吵架！每次一吵，瞬間進增一甲子功力，各種平常不會用的深奧話語都冒得出來，莫名其妙。另外今天第一次發現寫英文blog日記速度比中文還快，真不知該喜還是該憂...。

如果公司利益與個人專業發生衝突，你敢昧著良心幫公司說好話嗎？Pentax美國區總裁Ned Bunnell，同時也是個狂熱的攝影者，上週在自己的部落格寫他買了一台徠卡，結果下場是Pentax粉絲圍剿公幹，也真是夠慘的了。

徠卡是傳統相機界的頂級品牌，這誰都不會有意見。但他買的不是上圖左邊那台底片機（LEICA M4-P），而是右邊跟Panasonic合作的消費型數位相機D-LUX 4，文中還寫測試與實拍，一個總裁幫競爭對手打廣告，猛一看還以為帳號被入侵。（當然徠卡可能不認為Pentax是競爭對手就是了....）

這篇瞬間在國外的徠卡社群紅開，也有鄉民跑過去先酸個幾句再說。看來以後在部落格寫東西千萬要小心，所以呢，我把Carl Zeiss全賣了，哈。



後來Ned Bunnell又寫了一篇「Tempest in a teapot」，說明為什麼他敢寫出他買了這台，文內提到Pentax只有DLSR跟DC，沒有高階DC，以及Pentax未來的市場策略。Ned老兄，以後寫部落格要小心啊，事後再補救是很累人的！
