Voigtlander Bessa III is coming!
The Bessa III is a compact medium-format camera made by Cosina and Fujifilm. Like Mamiya 7, it's compact and easy. If you're familar with Leica M, your might see the same design on Bessa III. It's also the rangefinder system but cannot change lens that fixed at 80mm.
I saw this camera modal in Germany last year. Now it will be delivered next month. Here is some specs quoted from Voigtlander website.
6 x 7 and 6 x 6 by selector switch
120 or 220 roll film
HELIAR 3,5/80mm (6 elements in 4 groups)
Manually controlled helicoid (No auto focus)
Aperture Priority and Manual Exposure Mode
4s - 1/500
178mm x 109mm x 138 mm or 64mm (closed)
1000g
The retail price is 1999 EUR (87000 NTD). In my opinion, It's too expensive in cosina. Even it still has great courage to produce analogue cameras, how do people see it? Regardless of 135 and 120, I think people could pay the same money to buy 1 ZM camera and 2 ZM lenses also made by cosina.
