1987年

在我的印象中是個少女偶像當道的一年

國語歌壇中楊　林與方文琳的雙ㄌ一ㄣˊ爭輝

東洋歌壇的松田聖子與中森明菜的聖菜二鬥

令我印象最深的

是西洋歌壇的Tiffany與Debbie Gibson兩位才藝美少女的崛起



當年她們都才十來歲的青春年少

Tiffany當年16歲，Debbie Gibson才17歲

說起她們兩人的特色，除了外型甜美動人具有強力的吸睛能力之外

當然，別忘了當時還有一個走情色路線

超肉彈殺很大的童顏巨乳Samantha Fox

還有她們對音樂上的創作力，這也是她們兩位當年能在眾家青春小妞中脫穎而出的原因

兩人都自小在熱愛音樂的家庭中成長，自小也展現她們早慧的音樂天份與熱愛

在1987年的暑假起，她們初試啼聲便一鳴驚人

獲得許多青少年的認同，進而開始喜歡形成一股風潮



當然，萬事起頭難

年紀輕輕的小毛頭要說服大家接受她們的作品可是一件不容易的事

她們也曾在各大賣場前走唱，迪斯可舞廳的試放

一站又一站地四處散發屬於她們青春無敵的熱力

使得她倆在首張專輯就贏得許多的喜愛

這首1967年老歌新唱的"I Think We're Alone Now"讓Tiffany初試啼聲就獲得冠軍的榮譽

有趣的的是原來的詞曲創作既不接受Tiffany的詮釋方式，也忘了曾經創作過這首歌曲

不過面對再度大紅而來的鉅額版稅，相信他也不會跟天上掉下來的禮物過不去吧


Debbie首張專輯雖然沒有像Tiffany的有一砲而紅的冠軍單曲

對我而言

她那清亮的聲音明顯地與Tiffany略帶沙啞的嗓音相比是討喜多了

而且整張專輯都是她獨力詞曲創作的

對於音樂上的認真與企圖可見一斑

還記得這首"Only In My Dream"在當時的ICRT可是每天密集主打的歌曲

很快地

就成我每天隨身聽裡天天播放的歌曲

除了動感的青春舞曲，更要有些打動情竇初開療慰心靈的微酸情歌

我就很喜歡這一首"Could've Been"

將青春情事的悵然若失一一表現出來

那時我常跟死黨聚會的溫蒂漢堡就常常放這首歌

記得前幾年Tiffany曾經再度來臺

當陶子訪問她時又哼唱了幾句"Could've Been"

真的是我們那個世代共同的青春回憶

若Tiffany的"Could've Been"是青春情傷

Debbie Gibson的"Foolish Beat"多了一些成熟的情調

心碎而早熟的詞曲讓她在1988年夏季獲得生平首支冠軍單曲

據說當年Debbie還曾寫信給她最崇拜的George Micheal，希望George Micheal能擔任這首歌的製作人

只是遲遲等不到回音只好作罷

對我而言，記憶裡的青春是純白與卡其交錯的世界，有著ICRT與隨身聽裡的歌聲相伴

課後搭車步到高雄火車站前的唱片行裡找尋壓力下的天堂

窩在放著西洋歌曲的速食店裡，用音樂的熱情架構著未來的藍圖

Tiffany與Debbie Gibson的歌聲早已在這潮起潮落的流行歌壇中成為絕響

現今再見到她們早已滄桑，可是那青春的留聲機仍在記憶的角落賣力地轉唱著

不曾間斷
