美樂地小筆記(10)一分為二的專輯－－－The Love Inside

若要舉出國內的歌手能在中，英文歌曲的實力游刃有餘又能屢創銷售佳績
那麼TRACY必定是那始祖
在她的演唱會中提到：英文歌曲是她最熟悉的一部份
這對於從西洋歌曲起家，後來又長居華洋雜處星洲的她而言
真的就是as easy as a cake
尤其是當年聽到這首主打歌曲The Love Inside
雖然原唱是Barbara Streisand 1981年在"Guilty"專輯中第七還是第八首單曲
因為主打如"Woman In Love"或是"Guilty"的風格實在是搶眼
又是暢銷單曲
當年並沒有非常受到注意
這首歌的內心感情由低迴輕唱到激昂高聲
情感層次分明
Barbara Streisand 的唱法稍嫌過放......無法將內心情感的細緻唱出
我反而喜歡TRACY唯美的內斂唱腔將整首歌的精神表現地淋漓盡致
是TRACY灌錄過所有的英文歌曲中個人相當喜愛的一首
1986年TRACY在3張專輯的加持之下成為年度最暢銷的天后級歌手
短短一年不到
她的地位已在同公司的四后中躍升為銷售一姐
也讓當時的老闆吳楚楚特地飛往新加坡為她送上白金唱片
證明她的一姐地位
計劃趕不上變化
原本要在1987年初發行的國語專輯
改二月底發行了這張The Love Inside
雖然沒有啥創意概念
只是將TRACY最擅長的70-80年代當紅的西洋歌曲收錄而成
早期TRACY在寶麗金時期一直到華納飛碟時期的前三張....
共五張英文專輯
個人覺得每張的概念不明確
似乎只要是好聽的.....當紅的
就收來唱
雖說有幾首驚豔之作
像是Paradise In My Heart或是Shianghai Memories1945.....真的百聽不厭
而且沒有人能唱得像她那麼好
唱出了屬於TRACY輕柔唯美的感覺
但是整張專輯的駁雜仍是我無法接受的
畢竟在我的印象中TRACY是個追求完美的歌手吧
最教人訝異的是
她竟然將當年Madonna最紅的單曲True Blue
Every Beat Of My Heart這首屬於Rod Stewart那樣狂野而沙啞唱腔的歌曲也唱了
也許身為銷售一姐的她想證明自己的唱功實力
除了唯美輕柔也想嘗試一些性感或是狂野的曲風
問題是......好聽嗎?????
若是有聽過的朋友可能就立判高下
到底是驚豔還是驚嚇
不需我太多著墨了
不過當紅的她真的是怎麼唱
大家還是依舊買帳
這張專輯仍然熱賣
若干年後......當許多專輯開始CD化
竟然找不到這張專輯的CD
雖然在一些收藏者的口耳相傳中言之鑿鑿地確信真有這張專輯的CD版
但是怎樣也都沒有看過CD版的The Love Inside
只能在Paradise In My Heart和True Devotion這兩張專輯CD版各收錄部份的曲目
只能說Paradise In My Heart和True Devotion這兩張專輯CD版視為1986年到1987年TRACY的英文專輯小精選
而TRACY在1986年到1987年這兩年一共發了6張專輯
三張國語，三張英文專輯
真可謂是當年飛碟華納的超級壓片機
而且每張都暢銷
但不知怎的1988年以後的TRACY發片量漸少
可能是累了吧....我想
不過1989年以後的作品主題概念變得更完整
音樂性也變得更為豐富多樣
也是一大進步
只是這張專輯沒有單張發行CD
真的令許多人扼腕
我也曾看到不少人在線上連署的呼聲極高
就是不見復刻再現
如今只能聽黑膠或是錄音帶來聊慰那期盼的心情吧

國中時這張專輯的錄音帶被我聽的滾瓜爛熟。剛剛點進來聽到"Love Inside" ,居然下意識沒看歌詞就這樣哼了出來。10多歲的自己聽的是嚮往，30多的自己經歷的情起緣滅，聽的是自己的傷。淚眼裡還是有著懷念。

這張專輯沒沒有實際買到
但印象很深的是TRACY在樹下唱The First Of May的MV
不管怎樣
這是我國二的回憶
還蠻深刻的

這是我很喜歡的一張專輯，卡帶版，
但是，搬家時，丟了～

有一年搬家
差點把幾張重要而珍貴的CD弄丟了
心情差得很
半年多以後才發現
所以啊
搬家可真的要小心

哈哈哈這也是我國二的歌
我好喜歡the love inside, first of may
where did all the good times go
也最討厭true blue跟take my breath away
黃鶯鶯一點也不適合這兩首
是專輯裡頭的老鼠屎 XDDD
雖然他在飛碟前三張英文專輯
風格的確比較不整齊
但我好像還是喜歡paradise和這張
勝過後來兩張紅伶心事
可能對我來說 這是最初的感動吧

where did the good times go?"

true blue跟take my breath away這兩首真的是當年趕搭流行的風潮
"現在流行什麼"就唱什麼
這也是當年我比較不喜歡她的英文專輯上的特點
像是on my own也是當年剛推出單曲沒多久
她就拿來唱了
不過這首歌倒也還好唱出她的味道
只是.....true blue跟take my breath away她唱來真的很怪
尤其是take my breath away原曲我就不是很愛了
"tell me baby did you know where did the good times go?"
想起的是兒時在外婆家唱盤中學生之音黑膠傳出的歌聲
的確
聽到過去這些經典
只能說
往事只能回味了
