1987年的夏天

是為了升學每天在書本講義自修考卷中汲汲營營又跌跌撞撞國三小子

每天在及格與不及格.....倖免與挨打之間得以喘息的片刻

就是在放學騎著單車

口中哼著昨晚哥哥姐姐在收音機裡播放的西洋歌曲

那一年的夏天

我最喜歡的一首

就是這一首熱舞十七的主題曲:(I've Had) The Time Of My Life




片中敘述了1960年代初期那個保守的年代

一個中產階級的17歲少女

在夏天渡假時

愛上了一個舞蹈老師

在那個階級分明的60年代美國南方

禁忌的熱情就像是濕熱焦燥的慾火

藉由倆人緊緊貼近的狂野舞蹈中蔓延開來

當然

不免俗地在一連串世俗阻撓的試煉下

他們奮不顧身無畏重重阻礙的真情

皆大歡喜地結束了這一段轟轟烈烈的舞蹈戀情




片中有許多俐落的舞蹈動作

在60年代的復古舞曲下

彷彿舊日又歷歷可見

男女主角也都俱備了深厚的歌舞底子....才得以勝任這部電影的演出

男主角Patrick Swayze的深情帥勁更是迷惑了多少人的心

而自己也跨刀唱了一首抒情歌曲'She's Like The Wind"

歌喉不差

其實當年很多"演而優則歌"的男星時有所聞

巷是"邁阿密風雲(Miami Vice)"中那個帥帥的警探Don Johnson1986年唱了一首"Heartbeat"

霹靂遊俠李麥克也出過個人專輯

反應都不惡

也算是另一種附加價值

Patrick Swayze第一次讓我有印象是在20多年前華視週末的迷你影集"北與南"中飾演深情的南軍軍官

1987年這部片讓他在好萊塢聲名大噪

1990年的"第六感生死戀"那一場靈魂跟女主角捏陶纏綿的經典片段

更讓他的演藝事業如日中天

而主題曲的男女主唱來頭也不小

Bill Medley 是60年代紅極一時的團體"正義兄弟"(Righteous Brothers)成員之一

還記得第六感生死戀中那首經典老歌"Unchained Melody"嗎

就是這個團體最讓人耳熟能詳的代表作

Jennifer Warnes先前最膾炙人口的代表作是在1982年"軍官與紳士"主題曲"Up Where We Belong"

這兩首歌曲都榮獲的奧斯卡獎的最佳電影主題曲的榮譽

她那平穩不浮誇的中音唱出對感情與信念的堅定

現今已很難再找到這樣的聲音了

前兩個星期看了一部頗Kuso的美式動畫電影

這部片中大大消遣了(I've Had) The Time Of My Life

成了一首男男表白的情歌

惡搞意味相當濃厚



不過二月底聽到了沉寂多年的Patrick Swayze不幸罹患了胰臟癌

歷經過親人患此症還有四年前梁弘志也因此症短短半年不到就離世

免不了為他深深感到一陣唏噓

不知我們還能再見到他幾回呢

而這部電影

也許就是他一生中的The Time Of My Life
