每到聖誕節前夕

想必大家很難不會在某個街角聽見Last Christmas

這首歷久不衰的耶誕應景歌曲

從80年代一路唱了20多年

儼然成為流行歌曲中的耶誕國歌

也許有人聽到快爛掉而不願再次被重複的旋律轟炸

也有些新世代的年輕人沒聽過這首歌

但這首耶誕大拔辣真的在當年就紅極一時



當時的主唱George Micheal以"Wham!"合唱團身份演出這首歌

George Micheal與Andrew Ridgeluy在1982年組成了"Wham!"合唱團

輕快的旋律配上他們俊朗的外型

擄獲了無數少女懷春的心靈

1984年發行的"Make it Big"更是他們事業的最高點

專輯中收錄了"Careless Whisper"等冠軍與Top10暢銷單曲

成了當年最火紅的偶像團體

直到1984年冬天趁勢在耶誕節前夕推出了這首應景歌曲

歌詞大意是寫著觸景傷情的男主角回想起去年耶誕節的甜蜜與景物依舊人事已非的傷感

在George Micheal富有情緒渲染力的詮釋下

能夠唱出整首歌的真正感覺簡直就是非他莫屬

這首歌1984年底推出時曾獲得英國金榜的冠軍寶座

沒想到隔年耶誕節前夕再度發行

仍有第六名的佳績
