兩輪，四輪.......通勤於這裡到那裡

投身入茫茫人群中

做個常常順著潮流卻又不盲從的朝九晚五上班族

下班後盤算著

是要去健身房做點運動頑強抵抗過度美食後的脂肪堆積

還是跟三五好友同事聚餐談心聊是非

還是跟親愛的他一起渡過浪漫的春宵

都會生活腳步匆促，只有俐落的生活態度才不會被瞬息萬變的一切給拋棄一邊



我不是個兩性專家

更不是個女權主義的闡揚者

沒必要跟你高談闊論都會OL的興起與由來

這裡只想告訴你們的

從前我們有陳淑樺，林憶蓮等女歌手唱出都會OL的喜怒哀樂

儼然成為"都會女子代言人"

但是在80年代初期

在歐美流行歌壇裡

就已經有這樣的人物出現

她們就是Olivia Newton-John(奧莉薇亞．紐頓強) 和 Sheena Easton(席娜．伊斯頓)




娟秀的臉龐

姣美的身材

簡單俐落的髮型

誇張眼部與嘴唇的彩粧

似男性西裝般的大墊肩套裝與極窄短裙

是80年代初期OL們時尚通關密語



在輕快而明朗的旋律中以都會景象的種種強化了都會生活的多采多姿

如地鐵，電車，上班，下班，約會

而中產階級開始重視運動休閒的健康新概念也融合在歌曲中

努力工作

是這一時期新女性的教條與信念

這也代表了一種城市文明興起的另一種現象


這跟80年代後期的突顯出職場的爾虞我詐相比
