晚上十點。
剛下班，空氣中還存有今早雨水的潮濕。我步行至轉運站去等待回家的班車。

晚上十點二十。
上車，選了個靠窗的位置。沒什麼特別的原因，只是很不喜歡靠走道那種與人擦身而過的肢體接觸。

晚上十點二十一。
公車準備發車。就在關門的那一剎那，一位biker小姐上了車。她選了我旁邊靠走道的位置。沒什麼特別的原因，只是因為我旁邊沒人坐。

晚上十點二十二。
"If I ask you to recommend a book," I asked,"What book would it be?"
"The Bible."
"The Bible? Why?"
"Because it teaches you about life," she answered, with a smile on the face. "And also how to live it to its fullest."
於是我們開始攀談了起來。

晚上十點二十五。
biker 小姐頭上的安全帽還在。身穿的淺灰的防水夾克還有些許的水珠附著在上面。
窗外的天空還是一樣的暗，偶爾會從稀疏的雲層中穿透出星輝的光芒。
"isn't it amazing how different books reflect the personalities of the book recommenders?"
She nodded.
"I am trying to make a book list of all the books people recommend," I said. "The Bible is a big book, I have to have a lot of time to finish it."
"it's ok. just make sure you read it."

晚上十點二十六。
我們開始聊不同的宗教觀。biker小姐是個基督徒。

晚上十點二十九。
"The bus is somewhat like the world, people come and go, but we seldom take the time to interact with each other."
"yep."
"or at least that's what I think."我說。

晚上十點三十。
"So do you also live in Renton?"他說。
"No, I live at NE 8th and Northup, I'll have to get off the bus before you."

晚上十點三十一。
"sorry if I offended you in any way. It's just that it has been a long day and I don't like quiet rides."
"It's alright, it was a nice talk."
"and a nice ride. it's always fun to talk to others. you don't have to leave a name or a phone number. it's just good to know that there's someone out there who you talked with and shared different thoughts with, even if you don't know him that well."

晚上十點三十三。
"oh, and by the way, my name is Felix"
"Hi, I'm Heidi. Good night"
我們禮貌性的握了握手，感謝對方這趟車程的陪伴。
"Good night, and hope to see you again sometime."
"If we have that chance.
下車。

晚上十點三十四。
剛下車，空氣中還存有稍早雨水的潮濕。我步行至家裡去等待明日的到來。
而那公車上的陌生人，繼續他的旅程，前往他原定計畫的目的地。
and life moves on.
