I, performer, director—以Goffman的戲劇論看blog使用者的表演與自我展現

本研究探討新興的網路媒介-Weblog（blog；部落格），主要以高夫曼（Goffman）提出的戲劇理論及舞台觀點來檢驗六個樣態形貌各異的部落格，並佐以超人際傳播和互動的角度，採用質化的文本分析方法。本研究發現，部落格與舞台劇場有許多相似點，而作者對部落格具有高度的操控性，可以從各個方面，有效掌握自己的網路形象；同時，部落格提供多樣且異步的互動機制，作者與觀眾藉由部落格介面達到人際間的高度情感交流。

Abstract
This research probes into the burgeoning internet media-Weblogs(blogs).
Based on Goffman’s dramaturgy and stage viewpoint, the researchers examine
six varied weblogs with theories of hyperpersonal and interactional
communication, using qhalitative text analysis method. We found that weblogs
bear much similarity with stages, and the authors take high control over their
blogs; they are able to master their own online self. Also, the blogs provide
multiple and asynchronous interactional mechanisms for highly interpersonal
emotional interflow.
