眷戀--神無月之巫女

J.C., whom I have known more than eight years, is my best friend. In fact, she is more like a family member to me because we have been roommates and colleagues for a very long time. Until now, I have spent even more time getting together with her than with my family; she is another sister to me.

According to a Taiwanese paradox saying, a perfect job requires three benefits: high pay, few duties, and a short commute distance. High pay leads to a high living standard and a high social position in a capitalist society, while few duties involve a lighter job load and few job responsibilities. Furthermore, a short commute distance in a crowded, busy, and heavy-traffic city will allow commuters to spend more time with their families. Although the perfect job seems a myth as it is almost impossible to gain these benefits at the same time, many, like me, have been searching for the perfect job for years.

春神來了怎知道? 鹿兒們跑出來吃草... 這是最近意外發現的特殊校園景觀，一度還誤以為是置身在六福村中。路燈下的Rochester旗幟圖案也從白雪換成了黃花，也許不久後就會看到繁花盛開的景象，令人滿心期待... 。

但季節變換，氣候似乎特別不穩定，先是連續幾個大熱天，最近卻接連幾天下起雪、冰、水混合的"雨"，地上濕滑難以行走，就算有車代步也得先花半小時以上才能破冰而入，課外活動紛紛取消，有些學校甚至還停止上課。換季，壞的不只是天氣，壞消息也特別多；先是美伊戰爭爆發，再來是SARS疫情擴大，巨星遽逝令人震驚，好友與情人分手的消息也讓人憂心... 唉... 。

不會更壞了吧? 我想。拍張冰覆樹枝的奇景見證壞天氣，然後，把壞心情忘記。

Foreign travel is a common dream of most people.
