反正最近大公司合併已是司空見慣的事了

突然想到，現在的 iChat AV 不是也是用 AOL 的 Server (跟 AOL 可以通?)
那 iChat AV 的下一步呢？

最後 eBay 還是買下了 Skype
花了高達41億美元併購
接下來就看 eBay 要怎麼玩 VoIP 了

首先我必須指出，在 Skype 之前，中國的電信或 ISP 業者對相關的 VoIP 業者進行封網(不管檯面上或檯面下)早有所聞，所以 Skype 絕對不是第一家，也許是樹大招風，所以封網動作從檯面下轉到檯面上來了

再來，Skype (or SkypeOut)遭到封網，大陸也不是第一個，中東阿拉伯國家就有對 Skype 進行封鎖的前例，之前我也有看過報導指出，德國也考慮對 Skype 進行封鎖

另外，Skype SuperNode 的問題不解決，無法提供 MIS 人員相關的控管功能，這也是其不太能被企業所接受的原因之一，而且其專屬的通訊協定，不夠開放，大家還是寧願用 SIP

從以前 Skype 一出來時我就不看好它，到現在，我還是不看好
要 Skype 夠聰明，趁著現在價值高時趕快賣個好價錢吧，否則很有可能血本無歸

VoIP 的未來，在 Google Yahoo Microsoft 等大公司投入市場後，挾其強大的背後網路基礎或是 IM 客戶的基礎，大公司還是比較看好的，其他小公司要生存實在困難
另外，VoIP 的商機在哪裡？這也是一個值得思考的問題
靠賣軟體賺錢？這是不可能的，現在的 VoIP Client 端軟體幾乎早已經是免費下載了
靠搭配硬體賺錢？這也是不太可能，賣硬體的會賺，但賺的是硬體廠商，VoIP 業者賺的還是有限
靠通務(通話費率)賺錢？這個就更不用說了，費率掌握在固網業者的手中，就算要賺也是入固網業者口袋，但這樣同時也是侵蝕到固網業者本身的利潤，網路電話起來，相對的他們在一類電信賺的就變少，因此，固網業者也是矛盾的，也不太會全力配合

現在 VoIP 營運商都還只是在打價格戰(低費率)搶客戶，對消費者來說是好事，但對 VoIP 業者以及固網業者來說，卻都不見得是好事，費率只會越來越低，網內互打只會免費，VoIP 業者賺的有限，同時這樣搞，也會搶固網業者的市場，惹惱固網業者，到時候搞不好大規模的封殺動作只會更快來臨

因此，如何找到 VoIP 的賺錢方法，那些公司可能要好好想想了，從廣告(之前提到的 AdCall)、幫助企業內部 VoIP 化或是從其他的附加價值等地方著手或許是比較好的方式
