我之前曾報導過 OS X Portable Applications
OS X FOSS portable applications are packaged so you can carry around with you on any portable device, USB thumb drive, iPod, portable hard drive, memory card, other portable device (or also on your internal hard disk).

很早就對 Portable Applications 有印象，就是 Portable Firefox，而目前 Portable Firefox 也移到 PortableAppls 去了
(前公司之前也曾經在搞這種 Portable 的 VoIP Software，而最難搞的算是 Autorun 的部份，每家 USB 碟的作法又不盡相同...XD)
PortableApps 上面有很多 FOSS 的 Windows 軟體

在自由軟體技術交流網上看到的 可攜式軟體USB隨身碟 -- 應用程式行動碟
這應該是跟 PortableApps 類似的東西，不過若有人將其加上中文方面的支援的話，這對中文使用者來說，應該會更方便吧

在 Linux for Travelers 上也看到了除了 Mac 及 Windows 之外，在 Linux 上也是可以跑的 Running Portable Apps on Linux
不過看了一下，目前還是用 WINE 去跑的 (有點 Orz)
若是有 Native 的 Linux solution 應該會比較好

不過我想，拿片 Linux LiveCD 也是方法之一吧 (@@)，然後再把設定檔儲到 USB 碟中...XD
