海外留學生/學者支持修改集會遊行法連署活動 (by 痞子揚)

痞子揚被任務賦予，要發起海外的連署活動，支持在自由廣場靜坐的學生。請大家踴躍參與啦!!

(目前想要連署的人似乎必須要log in Google Account才能連署，我還在想辦法把這各過程省掉。如果你還沒有Google Account，請告訴我你的姓名，居住地，單位/學校，以及職稱，我可以把你加進去。不便之處請見諒。）

這個連署活動，主要的目的，是修改集會遊行法許多不合理的地方。要求修法最主要的原因，在於我們認為人民的「集會結社自由」是憲法保障的權利，不應該由行政機關去作審核，不應該由執政者決定什麼活動可以集會，而什麼活動不行，行政機關沒有這樣的權限。

UC press is having a big online sale with very good prices – many of the books published by them are going at a discount of 50% or more. Quite a few going at even 80% (including a few published by UCB’s faculty).They have a pretty good collection and I think its well worth checking out. [研討會訊息]2005博物館、博覽會與地方發展共生關係之建構國際研討會

本計畫回應「地方─國家─世界(亞洲)」三階關係的思考模式，藉由博物館、博覽會等建設在地方可能造成的影響及效應，思考其共生關係建構之方式及可能性，延請相關行政單位、學界、國外專家及地方人士等與會，就學理及實務兩方面進行深入且廣泛的意見交流。嘉義縣與中南部地區，一方面隨著故宮南部分院之設立，展開了中、南台灣與大型博物館的共生發展議題；而另一方面，隨著高鐵即將通車，台灣南北城鄉之差距將迅速轉化，地方與國家在社會整體發展上的互動關係將益形密切。作為政府發展故宮分院、結合高鐵特區開發、推動博覽會，不僅具有活絡產業之發達，創造社會、文化效益，並企圖使台灣在亞洲或全球經濟發展關係上，扮演積極角色，在維繫國家永續發展上，無疑地更具有重要的指標性意義。對向來以農業立縣的嘉義縣與中南部地區而言，必然帶來極大影響力及直接效益，也是在發展區域瞭解、合作上，由地方迎向國家、邁入亞洲、奔向世界的重要契機。本次國際研討會的召開，作為廣徵各界建言之窗口及日後實際執行時之參考標竿。研討會探討之問題核心設定如下： (繼續閱讀...)

台大城鄉所的朋友轉寄過來的活動訊息. 據說這個老房子是撐不久了; 大家一起來關心吧!!

系列一：守護樂生•全民進駐國際協力工作坊

＜＜活動背景＞＞
位於新莊的樂生療養院，是1927年日本政府在台灣所建，強制收留當時的痲瘋病患者，戰後繼續作為一個療養所，院內現在住著300名已經痊癒的阿公阿嬤，樂生院為日治時期建築，至今有78年歷史，從形式（仿歐式圓拱、閩式三合院）、建材（如傳統屋瓦、木結構）都是現代建築學習的典範。近日院方以要脅搬到新大樓為由，不願修繕房舍、修剪花木，任由垃圾堆置，讓院民過得很不舒服。所以我們決定發起「國際協力工作坊」，號召有志之士進行樂生院房舍修繕、粉刷油漆、環境維護等工作，現場由木工與油漆師傅領班，傳授DIY整修技術。 (繼續閱讀...)
