1990年連憑著這一首Don't Wanna Fall In Love
一舉登上Billboard單曲榜亞軍三週
受制於Sinead O'conner的Nothing Compared 2 U
而無法順利拿下冠軍
這首歌也成為Jane Child唯一的美國Top40單曲
在英國方面則是登上#22，也是她的唯一上榜單曲

這首歌帶著強烈的New Jack Swing節奏
加上Jane Child有點叛逆的造型
Don't Wanna Fall In Love會紅並不讓人意外


1996年時在日本頗紅的黑人靈魂歌手Elisha La'Verne也翻唱這首歌
我個人很喜歡Elisa La'Verne的版本，相當輕快
保留了原本New Jack Swing的元素，但編曲上卻比較精緻

2008年Pussycat Dolls的團員之一Kimberly Wyatt也翻唱這首歌
收錄在專輯Doll Domination的bonus disc當中
Kimberly的版本現代感很重，但是還是保留有80年代的味道
不過編曲方面感覺有點粗糙，似乎有一點點demo的味道
而且Kimberly的vocal表現也只是普普，有點可惜
