話說Usher本來想找Mariah重唱Love In The Club的混音
可是大老板L.A. Reid怕和Mariah的宣傳對打而不准
結果Usher氣到打電話進電台抱怨，還說Mariah根本紅不過他

以下為傳言中Usher的談話:
"The collabo, Love In The Club Part II, was supposed to be me and Mariah but
L.A. Reid nixed the idea because he didn't want the song to interfere with
Mariah's chart position. I got mad love for Mariah, but that's kind of dumb,
how is my song going to interfere with her chart run. My songs already bigger
than hers".

結果L.A. Reid作梗之下讓Beyonce漁翁得利
這也是Beyonce繼和Justin Timberlake合作之後再度跨刀混音
和Mary J. Blige堪稱目前最受男藝人歡迎合作混音的女歌手
(MJB有和Robin Thicke的Ask Myself以及Maroon 5的Wake Up Call)
這個Love In The Club part II怎麼會這麼好聽!!!
而且從chorus的編寫聽來這首歌是真的本來寫給Mariah的
因為只要想像Mariah的聲音唱這首歌就會整個酥掉
實在很可惜L.A Reid不讓Mariah錄這首歌
