Ciara會不會只是另一個流行曲風下的One Album Wonder？

說老實話，我對於Ciara並沒有多大的好感
也不是說她唱的不好，或是歌不好聽
但總覺得她紅到沒有道理
首張專輯Goodies拿下R&B榜冠軍和流行榜#3
單曲的表現更是亮眼
Goodies（US Hot 100 #1、US R&B #1、UK #1）
1, 2 Step（US Hot 100 #2、US Pop 100 #1、R&B #4、UK #3）
Oh（US Hot 100 #2、Pop 100 #6、R&B #2、UK #4）
連續三首強勢的單曲讓她幾乎英美通吃
但是我對她的印象還是只停留在「女生版」的Usher而已
而且對於她如此迅速的竄紅，我更覺得她搞不好會成為另一個Ashanti
在第一張專輯大紅之後，推出的專輯成績都不怎麼樣
成為典型的One Album Wonder


Ciara這次的第四波單曲不可免俗的打出芭樂抒情曲And I
近年來已經鮮少有歌手能夠從同一張專輯打出四首單曲了
（近幾年通常都是打三首單曲，第四首單曲則是打改版後的新歌）
這次And I在拍攝前還打了不少新聞
包括這個video的概念是來自Whitney Houston的終極保鑣
之前傳了很久Ciara是變性人的傳聞
在加上近來和Bow Wow合作Like You而擦出的姊弟戀
Ciara很聰明讓自己持續在媒體上曝光，卻又不會讓人覺得曝光過頭


雖然我早就料到Ciara的第四波單曲會主打芭樂抒情歌
不過讓我意外的是這首歌終於沒有Usher的影子了
取而代之的是有點類似Babyface式的R&B芭樂情歌
而且Ciara擺脫街頭嘻哈風之後竟然看起來也蠻美的
讓這首歌成為我這一兩個星期最常放來聽的歌
