Anita Baker終於要發行個人第一張聖誕專輯了。

Anita曾於爵士鋼琴手Cyrus Chestnut在1998年同名專輯中跨刀演唱過這首歌
不知道Anita是要重新灌錄? 還是直接拿舊版本充數?

Meanwhile, Anita Baker will have her new holiday album in stores on Oct. 4. Produced and arranged by Baker and Barry Eastmond, “Christmas Fantasy,” from Blue Note, features a mix of traditional Christmas carols ("God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"), standards ("I'll Be Home For Christmas"), re-imagined classics ("Frosty's Rag"), Broadway show tunes ("My Favorite Things"), and three new songs by Baker and Eastmond ("Moonlight Sleighride," "Family of Man," and "Christmas Fantasy”).


The disc features Joe Sample on piano, Larry Carlton on guitar, Nathan East on bass, Ricky Lawson on drums and jazz quartet The Yellowjackets. The holiday set comes on the heels of 2004's gold-certified “My Everything,” her first album of new material in 10 years.
