Macmillan English Dictionary CD-ROM修正程式

第一版MED CD-ROM問題

Q1: 我的CD-ROM不能用? (已安裝成功)
A1: ²            出現的錯誤訊息為Z0001     
1. 將MED從電腦中完全移除(開始->控制台->新增或移除程式->選取MED並確定移除)後重新開機
2. 再次安裝MED後按照指示執行,並到http://www.macmillandictionary.com/aboutcdfaq.htm#XP2,點選第二條Before you buy中的My operating system is Windows XP Service Pack 2(XP SP2) and I'm getting a Z0001 message about an internal error. What can I do?下載修正程式後執行,這時候MED軟體就可以執行了
3.若是因為Window更新無法啟動MED軟體,請到http://www.macmillandictionary.com/aboutcdfaq.htm#XP2中My CD-ROM has stopped working after a Windows Update. What can I do? 中根據自己的Window版本下載KB924867修正程式
4.此時MED軟體就可正常操作  
  ²                 MED CD-ROM安裝成功但無法使用，且出現的錯誤訊息不是Z0001，怎麼辦?

  ²             MED CD-ROM安裝成功但無法使用，且以上方法皆無法解決，怎麼辦?
1. 請確認你的電腦系統符合最低需求.
2. 請至http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/downloads/drx81.asp 下載最新版本的Direct X，下載後須重新開機
3. 請至 http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ 下載更新Windows。
4. 更新你的顯示及音效卡的驅動程式。


請您檢查電腦系統是否符合以下之最低需求:        
IBM-compatible PC (MED CD-ROM無法在麥金塔或Linux系統中使用.) ·         您是使用以下其中一個版本的 Microsoft® Windows®，並搭載配合的CPU及RAM
◎ 98 operating on a Pentium 133 processor with 32 MB RAM 
◎ NT 4.0 Workstation with Service Pack 3 operating on a Pentium 133 processor with 64 MB RAM
◎ ME operating on a Pentium 200 processor with 64 MB RAM

Q2: 我的MED CD-ROM無法安裝
A2: 1.        請確認你的電腦系統符合最低需求

  2.        請檢查電腦上的日期是否正確

  3.        在安裝光碟時，請確認沒有其他軟體正在執行，包括掃毒軟體等

  4.        請確認你正確依照安裝步驟指示，並確認輸入正確的key code

          5.        如果您使用 Windows® 2000, 你必須是 Administrators group 或 the Power User group 如果您使用Windows® XP, 你必須是Computer Administrators group才能安裝光碟.

Q3: MED舊版CD-ROM可與Windows Vista相容嗎?
A3:不行，但新版MED CD-ROM可以。 

第二版MED CD-ROM問題

Q1:  MED2 CD-ROM中的搜尋search功能無法使用
請您至http://www.macmillandictionaries.com/faqs.htm中的If you have version 2.0.0702 or 2.1.0706 of the Macmillan English Dictionary CD-ROM and you have a problem with searching when you first use the software after starting Windows, please click here to run an update that will fix the problem. 

Q2:  MED2 CD-ROM若為2.1.0706版本與Vista相容的問題
請您至http://www.macmillandictionaries.com/faqs.htm中的If you have version 2.0.0702 of the Macmillan English Dictionary CD-ROM, you can update it to version 2.1.0706 to ensure compatibility with Windows Vista. Please click here to run the update.

可使用鍵盤上的Print Screen 將螢幕畫面貼在email中，以便更清楚了解問題。

只要購買任何一版紙本MED，皆可免費註冊登入使用MED線上字典。http://www.macmillandictionaries.com/home.htm -> MED Online -> Cookies Turned Off (依照步驟將保護級數調整至中級) -> Continue -> 註冊過程註冊過程中，將會詢問3道題目。
