Gavin DeGraw是來自紐約的歌手
從八歲就開始學鋼琴還跟他哥哥合組樂團
後來進入很有名的Berklee College of Music就讀
不過他只讀了一年就決定到紐約去闖蕩
後來J Records慧眼識英雄在2003年幫他出了專輯Chariot

我最喜歡他那種獨一無二的嗓音
那是別人模仿不來的
還有他的咬字特別清楚這點也非常吸引我
可能是因為他是紐約人的關係吧
所以我覺得他的英文特別優雅好聽

我也很喜歡他那種獨特的詮釋歌曲方式
他曾經當過駐唱歌手 當時都是唱些他喜歡的老歌
但是那些老歌被他的演唱賦予全新的容貌

我覺得也是因為如此讓他的歌百聽不厭
不論是他自己的創作或是翻唱的歌曲我都很喜歡
但Follow Through是我最愛的一首

他是個很棒的songwriter
他寫的歌詞都很貼近每個人的生活
似乎可以從他的歌曲裡找到自己生活的影子

期待他的第二張專輯
據說他已經開始錄製第二張專輯了
不知道什麼時候才會發行
