1 Kings 3:10-14 King Solomon asked for wisdom


The LORD was pleased that Solomon had asked ffor this. So God said
to him, " Since you have asked for this and not for long life or death
for your enemies but for discernemnt in administering justiec, I will
do what you have asked. I willgive you a wise and discerning heart, so
that there will never been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.
Moreover I will give what you hoave not asked for -- both riches and
honor -- so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings.
And if you walk in my ways and obey my statutes and commands as David
your father did, I will goive you a long life."

Oh LORD, please give me love to love who you love.
Give me wisdom to lead young people walk in your ways.
Give me a pure heart to follow you and be your maidservent.
Give me knowingness and courage to resist all kinds of sin.
Because You are my LORD, and I'm your slave.
Please prepare your maidservent to do what you want me to do.

" seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well."
